Thats a pic of S band radar.By any means, is this the radar for XRSAM. PKS said DRDO is developing C-Band radar as primary for XRSAM. @fire starter @BrigadierRPS @Chinmoy@Karthi
What is the point of biofuel on military aircrafts as a priority? Can anyone please explain?
can reduce dependece on foreign nationsWhat is the point of biofuel on military aircrafts as a priority? Can anyone please explain?
So what about rest of the fuel? I meant why to start with military aircraft for this drama? Just fly some random civilian plane first?can reduce dependece on foreign nations
Much more efficient than most of the kerosene based fuel used in Indian aviation, it's easier on the engine too. Plus dependence on JET fuel reduces (imported by India mostly) so that's always good news. What is the point of biofuel on military aircrafts as a priority? Can anyone please explain?
Spice Jet or jet airways flew a plane with bio fuel . It already works. Problem is it costs higher than your traditional fuel so no one is buying it in a mostly profit oriented industrySo what about rest of the fuel? If it costs higher than why would the military buy it?Spice Jet or jet airways flew a plane with bio fuel . It already works. Problem is it costs higher than your traditional fuel so no one is buying it in a mostly profit oriented industry
Who knows? As I said it puts less load on engine, so maybe to get more flight hours out of our planes. And the whole reason it costs that high is due to limited production. If IAF orders it in high numbers, cost can go down, maybe it will encourage our civil aviation industry to take it up too then which might further drive down costs. If it costs higher than why would the military buy it?
This biofuel has been in testing phase with IAF for last 3+ years. This rigorous testing is not possible with civilian sector. So testing a military aircraft with biofuel is of importance before using it on commercial scale for civilian use. What is the point of biofuel on military aircrafts as a priority? is there a Indian source to this info that bio aviation fuel is costlier?Spice Jet or jet airways flew a plane with bio fuel . It already works. Problem is it costs higher than your traditional fuel so no one is buying it in a mostly profit oriented industry
is there a Indian source to this info that bio aviation fuel is costlier?
Ya'll Nibbiars Scale of production is not large when it's commercialized then the cost would be equivalent to the Jet Fuel.is there a Indian source to this info that bio aviation fuel is costlier?
And another possibility is that , it may go down further with more innovation .Ya'll Nibbiars Scale of production is not large when it's commercialized then the cost would be equivalent to the Jet Fuel.
Well, based on this twitter, the Chinese words "飞行实验" means "flying experiment".The chicoms are saying they have conducted first flight experiment on Tengyun TSTO vehicle. Interesting to note, they have said experiment...Not test..Means in simulated environment of wind tunnel
I saw that wind tunnel test video. The chicoms are saying they have conducted first flight experiment on Tengyun TSTO vehicle. Interesting to note, they have said experiment...Not test..Means in simulated environment of wind tunnel
