Even a lighter turret will do. Just don't change the gun. 125 mm firepower 💥..Even a rapid fire 105 or 76 mm one will do as well. Cased ammunition should be considered. The gun can be made lightweight then
The AU-220m is offered as an upgrade package to bmp 2. If it's selected, maybe it can be carried onto kestral. A 2nd varient with 105mm can be considered

It comes with cased ammo

On a serious note, won’t a 125mm gun have a really high amount of recoil on such a light platform? It took the Russians a long time to solve recoil issues with the Sprut and it still has a lot of recoil.
I wonder if DRDO can integrate a 105mm gun (possibly 120mm) with a T90 turret?

The chicoms are saying they have conducted first flight experiment on Tengyun TSTO vehicle. Interesting to note, they have said experiment...Not test..Means in simulated environment of wind tunnel
This article is from 2019 but more or less it seems this is what they are talking about, two stage to orbit. First stage is your mothership and then your space plane uses it's own rocket to move out.
More details,
