Notice automated mortars on Mahindra lsv
Any idea on what this 8*8 based on?
It does resemble volat V2 apc but sides are completely different.
That is VERY nice and looks like a much more mature platform than you’d usually see at this stage (same with the drdo/Kaylani MGS)

given how many of these things the IA is buying it would make sense for them to make an entire family of products based on the ASLV, I’ve noticed the IA are very bad at exploiting their platforms though.

they’ll just order an LSV or MRAP or APC in their basic version and not create an ecosystem around them

I don't know how many wheeled platforms we have
I mean
Tata
L&T
Mahindra
If anyone could add more systems
We still don't have them. Most of them r prototypes except for TATA. We will only have them if army decides to procure them which is very unlikely since army just recently placed order fr TATA. Maybe they may procure the L&T one in the next 3 to 5 years.

AKASH-NG was supposed to be a compact single truck platform... Radar, C2 & missiles on a single truck👇... that's why it was considered revolutionary

Don't know how it took the form of an ugly trailer truck
That’s the army version in the single truck. IAF doctrine dictates that a tractor-trailer brings the system and drops it of somewhere in a predetermined location like in an airbase. You can see the same if you see the Army and Air Force versions of the Akash SAM and MRSAM.
Akash SAM IA Launcher. Army’s doctrine dictates that the Launcher and Radar as well as other components of the system to be mobile hence mounted directly on the back of a truck and not a trailer.

Absolutely wrong... No AKASH-NG planned for Army... No QRSAM for Airforce

AKASH-NG is for IAF as QRSAM is for Army.
