China used the J-16 more than any other plane over Taiwan!

Sample -- Oct. 1 to 4:
Oct. 1 -- 18 J-16s were used
Oct. 2 -- 12 J-16s
Oct. 3 -- 8 J-16s
Oct. 4 -- 34 J-16s
In my opinion Indian Tejas is better than any 4th generation aircraft available in the market except for the latest version of Gripen
Tejas is the smallest and lightest aircraft in the world 90% of its frame is made up of carbon composite and has reliable engine of GE
The cockpit and the controls of tejas are very intuitive and easy to operate flying tejas feels like being in a video game

And there it is. J-XY/J-35. When it rains it pours huh? First J-20S a few days ago, now this. Note the catapult launch bar, the wing fold line, and the chin EOIRST.

they are of different category and india will stop importing aircrafts after this the french rafale is their last import
Not even transports and other types? Or just stop importing fighters?

Does India have a large or medium sized transport aircraft for AWACS, tanker, MPA or even just regular airlift? If not then surely those must be imported.

China has the Y-12, Y-7/MA-60/700, Y-8/Y-9 and Y-20 in those spaces:

Also possible military versions of the civilian ARJ-21, C919 or CR929 in the future:

India to buy 33 Russian fighter jets for $2.43bn
Purchase of 21 MiG-29 and 12 Su-30 MKI is to augment the air force’s combat squadrons, India’s Ministry of Defence said.

India’s Ministry of Defence on Thursday signed off on the purchase of 33 Russian fighter jets and upgrades to 59 others worth $2.4bn, amid rising tensions with nuclear-armed neighbour China.
The purchase of 21 MiG-29 and 12 Su-30 MKI, as well as upgrades to 59 existing MiG-29s, was to “augment” the Indian Air Force’s combat squadrons, the MoD said.

The ministry also said it has approved local development of missile systems for all three branches of the military, and ammunition and upgraded infantry combat vehicles for the army.
The beefing up of India’s defence capabilities was taken up due to “the need to strengthen the armed forces to protect our borders and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for ‘self-reliant India'”, the ministry added in a statement.

The announcement followed Modi’s phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he “warmly congratulated” after a nationwide vote on constitutional reforms that could allow him to extend his rule until 2026.
Russia – India’s biggest arms supplier
India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Moscow last month to attend the 75th Victory Day Parade, which marks the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.

Russia was New Delhi’s Cold War ally and remains India’s biggest arms supplier.
In 2018, the two nations signed an accord for the supply of S-400 Russian missile system in a deal worth $5.4bn despite the threat of US sanctions.

India is awaiting the arrival of the first batch of 36 Rafale fighter jets ordered as part of a $8.78bn deal signed with France in 2016 in “ready to fly” condition, meaning they will be made in France.
New Delhi is expecting four to six Rafale aircraft to arrive in India at the end of this month.
The South Asian nation has become the world’s biggest arms importer as it modernises its military.
Rahul Bedi, a defence analyst, said the acquisition of the Russian aircraft will boost the air force’s depleted fighter squadron numbers, which have dropped from an approved total of 42 to 28. One squadron comprises 18 aircraft.

The 12 Su-30MKIs will be built under licence by India’s state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Bedi told The Associated Press news agency.

Tensions with China
Tensions with China over disputed territory led to hand-to-hand combat between soldiers on June 15 that killed 20 Indians.
Indian officials say the standoff began in early May when large contingents of Chinese soldiers entered deep inside the Indian-controlled territory at three places in Ladakh region, which was carved out of Indian-administered Kashmir last year.
Indian and Chinese military officials and diplomats have held several rounds of talks aimed at reaching a solution.

India’s ties with its western neighbour Pakistan hit a low after New Delhi changed the status of the portion of disputed Kashmir it controls in August last year.
India and Pakistan have fought two wars over control of the Himalayan region since the United Kingdom gave them independence from colonial rule in 1947.
Thousands of people have been killed since 1989 when an armed rebellion erupted against the Indian rule.

It was approved last year

21 MIG-29 already arrived in India?
India has 54 Mig 29 aircrafts these 21 are extra
The purchase comes as the IAF faces a depleting force strength due to its fleet of legacy aircraft and budgetary constraints.

2 dry docks to accomodate AC and one new under construction.

View attachment 116416

At any time 3 cab be built.

3 they already have.

Their construction cycle is 4 years
In 8 year they cab build 6 more.

They can't keep the shipyard idle either because it's one of the driving force of the economy.

oh...I forgot this in the morning...

I strongly recommend that you have a look at redevelopment project of Victoria/Princes Dock of old Mumbai port area...then you might have the hint.

no so called 3rd Dry dock here and some skyscrapers might be seen in the future...lol
even that 'two' dry Docks(actually 3.5 dry docks already there) will be gone when the DL shipyard relocation project starts.

The main reason for the resurrection of the theme is the opening of the China-India technology competition~!
