It's another frustrated day for @MiG-29SMT @Azaad @srevster. Just experienced China's Shenzhou-18 crewed mission this week and now they have to witness China's Chang'E 6 lunar sample return mission from far side of the moon for first time next week. Really really bad week for @MiG-29SMT @Azaad @srevster

what a moron envy why?
Are you a god? putting a rocket into space makes you gods?

what a Moron! for starters 3 or 4 people in space can not live moron there since bones become bridle and radiation increases, you can not grow food moron.

Am I happy on earth, yes i can breath fresh air see sunsets, walk, eat a fruit from a tree only idiots like you think space is cool, reality is being canned in claustrophobic conditions

I know you worship rockets as a subsitute of your male organs inadecuacies.

Believe me millions of poeple have women have sex and do not need to post rockets on internet as phallic substitutes.

get a girl friend, and admit you are no astronaut, and real astronauts know earth still is paradise

Drinking water is something many of us take for granted on Earth, but on space missions it is harder to come by. The ISS recycles much of its water using chemicals, but it still relies on sizeable shipments of water from Earth to give its astronauts access to clean water.

The European Space Agency (ESA) has released new information about how astronauts reclaim water aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Sending water into space is incredibly expensive with Space X charging $2,500 for every pound (0.45 Kg) of cargo, on top of a compulsory $1.1 million for 440 pounds (200 Kg).

As a result, astronauts on the ISS receive the occasional water care package of roughly 40 litres.

super inefficient technology to go farther needs more fuel. more fuel lower accelation, of course morons like you can not see that technology started 100 years ago and has not change most of it.

This means that the more fuel one carries, the less effective each unit is at providing the rocket with momentum – it’s a problem of diminishing returns. As a result, if more momentum needs to be imparted to the payload, the proportionate mass of fuel required increases exponentially.

1714193740585.png

The final important concept is that of mass ratio. This is how we quantify how much fuel a spacecraft needs. A spacecraft has a wet mass – its gross mass, full of fuel – and a dry mass – its empty mass, with dry tanks. The mass ratio is simply the ratio of wet mass to dry mass. The higher the mass ratio, the greater the fraction of the spacecraft’s wet mass is fuel.
