Why Pakistan cannot repeat initial influx of afghan fighters to Kashmir.
  1. India is not weak as it was in 1990s, it has a powerful central govt.
  2. Forces are ready with security grid in Kashmir and specialised COIN force like RR, CRPF
  3. International community views the Kashmir conflict as part of anti terror conflict.
  4. India has some leverage in Afghanistan with investment made.

Democrats being Democrats. Next they will normalise ties with China, put sanctions on Russia, bash Israel, re enter N deal with Iran, give money to Pakistan, poke nose in India's internal affairs & caatsa sanctions and maybe launch a war or two on some poor defenceless country for Hooman Rights™ violation.

Good o'l Murica is back!

>September 11th

A better date couldn't have been chosen

Anyway, the "Talibs" will probably do some YUGE terrorist g*ndmasti that will be publicized in the Western media and "force" Biden to continue this righteous war on terror
We really need to take this seriously because I think Afghanistani government can not alone fight alone against and even these Talib chaps will be getting support from porkies just in order to spread their influence and their are chances that they can again do Kandahar type of hijacking just in order to release porkistani terrorist . What are your views on this if I have written something amateur please don't start making fun of me

We cannot commit boots on ground in Afghanistan. At max we can fund/procure weapons for ANA. This again is a lost cause. Afghanistan is destined to be ruled by war lords. Let's see if US actually withdraws from Afghanistan.

US will begin our final withdrawal (of troops) beginning May 1 this year. We will not conduct a hasty rush to the exit. Taliban should know that if they attack us as we draw down, we will defend ourselves and our partners with all tools at our disposal: US President Joe Biden

We'll be out of Afghanistan before we mark the 20th anniversary of that heinous attack on September 11th—but we will not take our eye off the terrorist threat: US President Joe Biden

We will ask other countries in the region to do more to support Afghanistan specially Paskistan, Russia, China, India and Turkey. They all have a significant stake in the stable future of Afghanistan: US President Joe Biden

There will be no extension this time..
And there will be no peace in Afghanistan as long as Pakistan exists... (Pakistan will keep Afghanistan destabilized even if the Taliban comes to power )
Every body buckle up for the coming "civil" wars.. :bplease:

I still maintain to this day.. that Pakistan would never have dared to attack the Indian parliament, if it was not for America's crippling dependence on Pakistan for Afghan supply routes..

In light of US decision to withdraw (troops from Afghanistan), foreign & defence ministers of NATO discussed the way forward today & decided that we'll start withdrawal of NATO Resolute Support Mission forces by May 1: NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

We plan to complete withdraw of all our troops within a few months. If Taliban attacks our troops during this period, they'll be met with forceful response. We went into Afghanistan together, we adjusted our posture together&we're united in leaving together:NATO Secretary General

Currently, we've around 10,000 tropps in Afghanistan - the majority from non-US allies & partner countries: NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

Looks like they wants to get out of there in one piece, with their tail between their legs.
