We all know how multiple Border forces came up.
It's only after debacles in 62 and 65.

There are four CAPFs which are Border-Guarding Forces - BSF, ITBP, SSB and AR.

There should be the reduction in number of Border Guarding Entities as against the current 4 border guarding entities.

IMO, there should be only two BG forces.

BSF and ITBP. AR is already operating and should be fine with anti-insurgency ops in North east

The current role of the ITBP should also expand to Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar borders as Chinese misadventures can manifest through these countries as well.

Assam Rifles is more of a counter insurgency force for the NE sector. ITBP guards the Indo-Chino border while BSF guards the border with Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
