Answer is simple prolonged induction delays and brucratic red tapes of LUH to our armed services, most of other countries using cheetah as Museum pice where we use it in active service,
if they can spend billions on highways ships , bailout a collapsed bank and boast about how high the foreign reserve cash is ......they can surely buy LUH to replace the cold war helis

I agree brother..we lost precious pilots flying junk..But after all mig21 shitshow i am sure it's not about just political class only.. what about airforce leadership, military bureaucracy.. airforce can buy 700 millions worth missiles after balakot But why not before? Why they are always waiting for emergency purchase.. what exactly is reason for loosing pilots flying junkshit..why concept of retiring old equipment is very alien concept for military...less said about babudom is better

Ruskies tactics, prices keeps increasing from very first day of signing of the deal to till last piece comes out of the factory. For example,, admiral gorshkov, signed deal at one price and by the we got it we paid a billion dollar more, bjp did best to get best weapons our army have asked for, in most csaes militry leaderships is the culprit for delayed procurement, example, multi calibre rifle only to be cancelled later, wasted more than 2 years for subjecting to never ending trials, poor arjun tank, atags and many more, tejas, if it wasnt for bjp IAF would never have ordered them.
Why just BJP? what about IA and IAF Top leadership? Why is the Indian Armed forces still keep using these old ass helicopters and fighters that should have been removed from frontline service ages ago even after so many accidents?
