Good to see their fragile egos can't even handle a JF-17 crash. If their top gun Noman Akram hadn't attempted and spectacularly failed to complete a simple loop over a crowded city with hundreds of people filming, they would have passed off an F-16 crash as a propeller plane.

Are their sortie rates good, how many flying hours for a average paki pilot.

F-16.net has a list of Pakistani F-16 pilots and the hours they clocked and or retired with. The list only has a few dozen pilots so it’s incomplete and or the other pilots have way too low of flying hours to ad to the list.

Their most experienced pilots only retire with about 1000 hours. It’s fairly low, many experienced pilots from other nations retire with 2 or 3 times more flying time. I imagine the Mirage and F-7 Pilots have even less flying time since the F-16 is the premiere aircraft of Pakistan and probably gets the most flight times.

If Pakistani pilots clocked NATO standard flight times, the attrition rate would be a lot higher. Pilots don’t fly for fun, they practice dangerous night time aerial refueling, low level tying, night time penetration missions and dangerous merges. With such little flying times you won’t be exposed to dangerous training, hence less crashes.

Can't say which, mumins don't seem to have skills, and this plane is literally only used by Al-Jhatistan, not China itself, so could be that the jet itself is a potato

Its JF17 block II, 17 means 2017 and 241 must be second half of 41 or something. It was new aircraft.

Any Indian aircraft airborne flying around the Pakistani border? It would be natural to launch aircraft Indian aircraft if Pakistani AWACS and fighters are near the Indian border.


I always wonder if India tries to jam Pakistani aircraft when they are close enough. It sounds crazy but this happens more often then people think. Under intense enough jamming avionics begin to malfunction and fail. This can cause a crash. I only say this because of the new jammers spotted the on the MKI. I’m pretty sure this is not the case stranger things have happened.
