It was a Cheetah helicopter, not a Chetak. The crash was at Yonphulla, Bhutan after take off from Khirmu in Arunachal Pradesh. The wreckage has been located. Investigations are on.

Will today's fatal crash jolt the painfully lumbering Indo-Russian project to replace the Indian military's old and increasingly rickety Cheetah & Chetaks with new generation helicopters?

An American F-16 fighter jet crashed and its pilot ejected to safety near the city of Trier in western Germany on Tuesday, the German air force told AFP
Frankfurt am Main, Germany, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Oct, 2019 ) :An American F-16 fighter jet crashed and its pilot ejected to safety near the city of Trier in western Germany on Tuesday, the German air force told AFP.

The airman was "recovered with minor injuries" after crashing during a "routine training mission", the US Air Force base at nearby Spangdahlem confirmed in a statement.

Local police said they rushed to the scene of the crash near the village of Zemmer after receiving multiple emergency calls around 3:15 pm local time (1315 GMT).

Authorities blocked off a large zone around the crash site including several roads, the police statement added, urging drivers to avoid the area.

IN Mig29k trainer version crash in Goa both pilots ejected safely

View attachment 40122 View attachment 40123 View attachment 40124

1) a bird strike at an airport that is also used for large commercial airliners, where are there bird dispersal policies?
2) a MIG-29KUB doesn’t have the ability to continue flight after failure of a single engine after take off? That’s horrifying

Genuinely concerned about the MIG-29K now, looks like it could be another flying coffin.

Nice ,number 13 , congratulations guys. We dont need PAF downing our A/Cs. Lol and we dream of F35s , new Aircraft carriers. What a joke.
We mock Pakistan but we rarely hear their A/Cs crashing
Keep your wig on! India’s mil aircraft fleet is the 4th largest in the world so absolute number of crashes will always be high and India is an open society fo they are freely reported.

There’s no statistical evidence to support that India crashes aircraft at a higher rate than any other modern force.

Take a look at their crash record and you will know. Their F-7 constantly go down. Two Jf 17 crashed too. Check the no. of F 16 crash too. It's just we don't get the news.

With the sheer size of our aircraft fleet and different platforms we operate it's a messy situation.
