P.S - Can't confirm if its real pic of today's crash.
How many left in services. Will they be replaced by jf17. Has pakistan decided on replacement of older f16s.Its the second F-7 crash in two weeks. We need to retire these widowmakers asap.
According to the official statement released by PAF the pilot of the aircraft ejected safely which crashed during routine operational training mission. What about the pilot? Was he able to eject in time?
They have a few(4?) dozen -7PG left. The FC1 is probably going to replace them but I assume the Mirage 3/5 will be retired and replaced first. How many left in services. Will they be replaced by jf17.
This is the Fighter China 1 "Shitty Dragon".And this one is by Dawn News
Their own 'flying coffins' . By wiki sources some 60 F-7 are in service which might be less than the quoted number due to recent crashes. All F-7P variants are replaced by Jf-17 thunder and 60 F-7PG remain in service. They are only for CAS and strike roles and will be acting as cannon fodder for some of our obsolete air defence systems in case of conflict :bounce::bounce:They have a few(4?) dozen -7PG left. I think it was an engine issue, there was a flare-out a minute before the power loss.
This picture says it all. One wrong judgement by the pilot is all it takes at those speeds. We had a similar accident involving a Mirage in the 1980s. RIP pilot.
Looks like turbine or compressor destruction (or even one blade separation) that chopped out flight colntrol chain...I think it was an engine issue, there was a flare-out a minute before the power loss.
I could be wrong but Typhoon had the best crash/100,000 hours record amongst all 4th gen platforms. I think that went to crapper with these 3 crashes.Another Typhoon crash
RIP
This time in Spain. Three in a matter of weeks.
