The whole point of UAV is that there is no downside if it crashes, except for monetary loss.
It takes years to train a pilot and even if he ejects successfully he won't be allowed to fly again for few months.
On the other hand you can always make a new drone every month, so I don't think drone crashing will have any negative impact.
