They will need to get funds from somewhere right? One good thing i saw was that the news of Mahindra investing in Agnikul. More than tatas i feel he is doing better in investing our new comers.Ya'll Nibbiars wouldn't be suprised if such start ups eventually take by some foreign fund.
@Vamsi @SKC @fire starterAgnikul Cosmos to patent 3D-printed rocket engine
Agnikul Cosmos, the space tech startup incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, will apply for a patent for its full-scale, second-stage engine Agnilet, which it claims is the world’s first single-piece 3D-printed rocket engine. This means it’s been made in one shot without the thousands of parts that are typically assembled in a conventional rocket engine.
Agnikul Cosmos has also developed its own mobile launchpad, which allows it to launch rockets from any authorised port. The startup is awaiting final approvals from the Indian Space Research Organisation to launch its rockets from Sriharikota. By developing its own mobile launch pad, the startup is in a better position to scale up its business in the future.

Ya'll Nibbiars Impossible Nows.Agnikul thinking of launching their vehicle by the end of the year. Sounds optimistic! But wonderful, if they carry it out.
Agnikul to launch Agnibaan rocket before 2022
Private sector rocket maker Agnikul Cosmos is pushing itself hard to have its first test launch before the end of 2022, said a top official.economictimes.indiatimes.com
Ya'll Nibbiars has any launch happened on time ever, and specially the first launch pf a new company?.How's???
Agnikul is not far behind i m not posting since nothing is confirmedAmazing- and I was just about to write that while all this developmental testing is wonderful, when are we going to see an actual launch! Shouldn't get behind myself!
Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), the lead Centre of ISRO for the development of launch vehicles, facilitated the hot testing of a rocket engine developed by an Indian space start-up. VSSC successfully conducted the 15 s hot test of Agnilet Engine for M/s Agnikul Cosmos Pvt. Ltd. on November 4, 2022 at its Vertical Test Facility, Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS), Thiruvananthapuram. The test was carried out as part of MOU signed between ISRO and M/s Agnikul Cosmos Pvt. Ltd. to provide opportunity for Indian space start-ups to use facilities of ISRO through IN-SPACe.
More DetailsAgnilet Engine is a regeneratively cooled 1.4 kN semi-cryogenic engine, working at a chamber pressure of 10.8 bar(a) using Liquid oxygen and Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) as propellants. This engine is realised through state-of-the-art 3D printing technology and material of construction is INCONEL-718.
So Agnibaan will also be launched from SriHariKota.
Agnikul Cosmos, a space technology startup based in Chennai, received its first flight termination system (FTS) on 7 November 2022, from ISRO, with the support of IN-SPACe.
The official handing over event happened marking the culmination of multiple rounds of interactions about interfacing, handling and using these systems on Agnikul’s launch vehicle "Agnibaan", in the presence of Director, VSSC and IN-SPACe teams.
This also marks the first time that a system that has been used for ISRO’s vehicles is being supplied for supporting a private launch vehicle built in India. The package will be used for their fully controlled sub-orbital launcher, scheduled to launch from SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota.
So Agnibaan will also be launched from SriHariKota.
