Let's not put the Russians in that light. They are competent enough. The whole concept of stealth originated in Russia.Maybe the Russians are still begging from the Americans for their F117 RAM coating... China on the other hand just steals them.
Just want to add to your point, China is a new and agressive kid which want to prove itself in front of the world that they are also capable of. And, also has a good habit of competing their projects on time unlike Indians and Russians.
This got something to do with the air flow between two engines which increases the maneuverability of aircraft. There is so much space left between the engine's, why cant they have a flat underside ( increasing the missile room) like the f-22.
What differences are you talking about in tails??? I don't see any. Care to explain......There is a marked difference between the tails of both the prototypes. The second one seems to be more defined and stealthier than the previous one.
Look at the pic. The lower one is the second prototype, its tail has a new tapered end compared to the tail on the first prototype above it.What differences are you talking about in tails??? I don't see any. Care to explain......
I think you are talking about the drogue chute chamber. That is not the tail.... & btw the lower one is the first prototype & the one above it is the second prototype....Look at the pic. The lower one is the second prototype, its tail has a new tapered end compared to the tail on the first prototype above it.
Yes you could well be right. This area could house the back-facing X-band radar. See the pic below.@BE Good observation but do Drogue Chutes need a conical cladding? They are usually stuffed inside the fuselage area or below the tail. This could be sensors or something else.
The FGFA rendition is good. But the photoshop job is quite amateurish.^^Respect for Photoshop.
