MASSIVE: Send Terrorist Hafiz Saeed To Some Other Country, China Tells Pakistan! Full Details Here
Written By Ankit Prasad | Mumbai | Published: May 24, 2018 11:12 IST
Hack:
  • China is trying to get Pakistan to send terrorist Hafiz Saeed away to another country
  • The move comes amid mounting global pressure over which China has so far continued to back Pakistan
  • Pakistan has held deliberations over the matter
In a sensational development that sees even Pakistan's staunchest defender and all-weather friend acquiescing with the increasingly-held global view of Pakistan being a sponsor and exporter of terrorism, China has asked Pakistan to explore ways to relocate Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief and 26/11 attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed to a West Asian country.

As per Pakistani PMO sources, China's President Xi Jinping suggested as much to Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahid Abbasi in April in a meeting on the sidelines of the BOAO forum. As per sources, 10 minutes of the 35 that were spent in the meeting were devoted to discussions around Hafiz Saeed.

The move, if it comes to be, will allow Hafiz Saeed, a globally designated terrorist, to live 'a quiet life' in a West Asian country.

China's move comes in response to mounting international pressure to act against him for his links to terrorism and terror groups. On numerous earlier occasions, China has stood steadfastly behind Pakistan, often vetoing others moves to crack down on terrorism.

Accordingly, as per sources, the Chinese President was keen on pressing the Pakistan Prime Minister to find an early solution to keep Saeed away from the limelight.

In response, Pak PM Abbasi is said to have consulted with the government's legal team in a series of meeting, the last of which was held on Wednesday. The issue has also been raised before the country's National Security Committee (NSC) and is likely to be referred to the nect government for the earliest possible solution. General elections are to be held in Pakistan next month.

Incidentally, the same National Security Committee had recently dismissed Pakistan's former PM Nawaz Sharif's admission that Pakistan had sent terrorists to India for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Speaking to the Dawn newspaper (which has since faced a clamp-down), Sharif had said:

"Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross the border and kill 150 people in Mumbai? Explain it to me. Why can't we complete the trial?"

Mother of all ironies: Pakistan PM Imran Khan wants to ‘teach’ Modi government how to treat minorities

A country which itself has not been able to protect its minorities wants to give 'lessons' of tolerance to India.

Actor Naseeruddin Shah’s statement that he is scared for his children’s lives in India now has resonated with the not-so-friendly-neighbour across the border. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken it upon himself to show the Modi government ‘how to treat minorities’. Referring to Shah’s statement, Khan said, Mohammad Ali Jinnah had ‘understood’ this and because of this very ‘intolerance’, Pakistan was formed.

A bit rich from the person who is widely known as a terrorist sympathiser. More so from a country where anyone who is not a Muslim is looked down upon as non-believer or a kafir. And not just Hindus or Sikhs, but there has been a regular purging against Muslims of the Ahmadiya faith. In September this year, the Pakistan government dismissed economist because of his Ahmadiya faith.

The minorities in Pakistan have reduced from 23% in 1947 to a mere 3-4% of the population now after militant groups were created to target Shias, Ahmadis, Hindus and Christians. On the other hand, in India, the population of Muslims in India has gone from 9.8% in 1951 census to 14.23% in 2011.

In Pakistan, Christians and Ahmadis have been displaced within the country and have had to either flee the country or seek asylum elsewhere due to lack of protection and constant threat of the draconian blasphemy laws in Pakistan. In fact, historians in Pakistan itself say how declaring itself as ‘Muslim state’ the country sowed the seeds of intolerance by alienating other religions.

And while religious minorities are escaping from Pakistan, the minorities from Bangladesh and Myanmar are illegally migrating to India and want to settle here.

This haughtiness of Imran Khan is not new. Earlier, too, Khan had taken a dig on India’s stand of calling off talks after kidnapping and killing of three policemen in Jammu and Kashmir. Perhaps introspecting and fixing things in their own country first before trying to teach India lessons would do Khan good.

Pakistan has something in abundance that China needs desperately – Donkeys
China's demand for a 'miracle medicine' has created a donkey-crisis in the world, but Pakistan has quickly risen to solve the issue.

A new chain in friendship

What can Pakistan give to the world? No, we are not talking about terrorism, that’s a terrible joke. We are talking about a proper, legal tradable commodity.

Actually, Pakistan is not that hopeless, it is among notable exporters of agricultural produce like mangoes and rice, and it exports sports goods like footballs. However, most of these exports are to the European countries, USA, or the Gulf nations, while Pakistan imports a whole lot of things from China.

With such a huge imbalance in the trade deficit, what can Pakistan really give to China so that it doesn’t become a colony of China? Pakistan seems to have found a solution.

Donkeys!

Yes, this year, Pakistan has seen a huge growth in the donkey population, with the local media priding itself that the country is now in the top three nations as far as the donkey population is concerned. It should be noted that in terms of human population, which also grows really fast in Pakistan, Pakistan is at number 6, but in terms of donkeys, it is now at number 3. Admirable achievement.

So, what caused donkeys to breed faster than humans in Pakistan?

No, donkeys were not watching ‘donkey porn’ and getting horny, though Pakistan tops in such internet searches too. Donkeys don’t have internet access in Pakistan, at least literally.

It appears that donkeys could breed fast in Pakistan because China needs them to!

In 2017, it was reported that China faces a shortage of donkeys, and in 2018, we get the news that Pakistan has broken into the top 3 countries having donkeys. Dost ho toh aisa!

And if you thought it was just a coincidence, no. China and Pakistan are actually working on a project that aims to breed donkeys.

China needs donkeys because of the same reason China needs almost all animals in the world. To make some exotic medicine. In this case, it is an ancient medicine called E’jiao. The Chinese believe that this medicine works wonders. In 2nd century BC, a royal concubine apparently used E’jiao to prevent her miscarriage and her son became the emperor of China.

E’jiao is made by boiling donkey skin. China reportedly had the world’s largest donkey herd until 3 decades ago. But the growing demand for E’jiao saw most donkeys in China being skinned and boiled, and it now faces an acute donkey shortage.

Apart from ivory, rhino horns, tigers and pangolins, donkeys were being killed with fervor to meet China’s demand that over the years, many countries like Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Botswana have incurred ban on slaughter and export of donkey skins.

Pakistan, however, has quickly risen to meet China’s demand. So much so that with the ongoing CPEC, 80,000 donkeys are to be exported to China per year, thanks to China-assisted breeding programmes in Pakistan, their officials had announced last year.

So Pakistan started breeding donkeys with Chinese help recently and within barely a year, the donkey-breeding programme has met with spectacular success.

Pakistan also loves donkeys because there is a domestic market for donkeys too. Donkeys are used widely for transportation in Pakistan, and they are part of the local culture with donkey cart races being a popular sport. Donkeys are also safer than other animals in Pakistan, because many Islamic scholars believe that eating donkeys is haram.

Now it seems that donkeys are all set to become a major tool of diplomacy too. Many experts have often argued that Pakistan will become a colony of China due to huge debts the Islamic country is poised to create after trade deficit and big investments by China. How Pakistan keeps crying about ‘human rights abuses by India’ in Kashmir but keeps quiet about Chinese treatment to local Muslims, including wives of Pakistani men, is an example of that process of becoming a colony of China.

We hope that Pakistan can breed so many donkeys that it repays the Chinese loan and finds the tongue to talk about Chinese aggression.

And before it is able to do either of the above, please watch this video where a Pakistani reporter is riding a donkey, and talking about the achievements of Pakistan in the donkey sector:

Donkey business flourishing in Lahore and look at the way my old Freind Amin Hafeez reporting donkey business by risking his life pic.twitter.com/FHYuQrYOqP

— Hamid Mir (@HamidMirPAK) December 19, 2018

So enthusiastic are Pakistanis about the prospects of donkey selling that the reporter is barely able to sit still on the poor animal’s back. The last time a Pakistani reporter showed such dedication in his job, he inspired a character in Salman Khan’s movie Bajrangi Bhaijan, let us hope our belligerent neighbour breeds so many donkeys that it finds better livelihoods for their population. One day, Bollywood may be inspired to make a movie based on two donkey breeding lovers going to China.
