It's not the first time, few days back there was a report of Australians troop killing a POW because they didn't have enough space in the helicopter for more members, there are images of Australian troops waving Nazi flags, using nazi flags on the ICVs etc. Though reading those sounded like few lone accidents but this report is raising some serious concerns about the professionalism of the troops.
Interestingly at the same times there are huge number of reports about British intelligence violating human rights, reports about them continuing to do so with immunity, was all over reddit.
Posted the investigation into the ASAS some time back also.. its not just the Aussies

the Germans are debating to disband the KSK as well after a number of their subunits were stood down. A whole host of KSK members were found to be members of a Nazi Group and were stockpiling weapons for them.

The issues with Seals and Drug Running , Fracticide and other HR abuses is also getting farcical now.

There is a definite price to pay when you combine - Elitism culture outside Military Chain of Command + Unrelenting warfare + unbridled nationalism ---> 2 decades of of the GWOT is showing its cracks now.

How does it impact us? how do we learn lessons from here and prepare better for the realities of war and psyche going into the future?

They are scary good if they can kill someone in Iran and exfil without compromising themselves. That is like an Indian agency killing Dawood Ibrahim in Islamabad.
Mossad has been taking down targets and individuals in Iran for decades. This was just the most famous one.

And we could too. They were called CIT X/J . IK Gujral disbanded them and since then our covert capability inside pakistan was compromised and with the WOT raging in Astan that route was closed too.

BLA will now be the way back in

Remember what happened in Dubai a decade ago?

Imo, CIT X and J have been reconstituted. It makes no sense to have kept it shut down after gujral was gone. They may have even reached their the same level of capability as when they were disbanded now. Agree on the BLA part.

Bold: no sir, what happened?

A similar incident happened in 2018. A Shin Bet recon team (a Mista'aravim unit, probably Yamas) entered Gaza strip and killed 7 hamas terrorists in Khan Yunis including a commander but were compromised. One soldier lost his life. Third season of TV series Fauda is loosely based on this. This was because of the accent of one of the members. They were supposed to gather intel, but were compromised due to above and that led to firefight.

Well yes. Gaza and occupied territory actions are paramilitary in nature. What happened in Dubai was pure mosad.

Chinese PLAN Jiaolong (Sea Dragon) SF commandos training alongside Saudi SF:
Chinese SF are very young and inexperienced. They were created in the 1990s after China got inspired by American SF’s performance in Iraq. But they reached true-SF status only about 10 years ago.

However, due to China’s economic boom, their SF have more money and, therefore, somewhat better equipment as compared to Indian SF.

Still, I consider Chinese SF to be behind Indian SF on the overall because of the former’s lack of combat experience.

Yeah. They are using an M4 sopmod block 2 chassis without even an optic. Why spend the money to upgrade it then?

And dude, no self respecting 'SF' unit would be wearing bright blue for fuck's sake 🤣. Wtf is that even meant for? Hiding in water?
