I think a circle of 5 evenly divided sectors should be good. The circle represents planet Earth. The 5 sectors could represent the 5 founding members. It could also represent the 3 major continents and the 2 major oceans.

Europe-Asia-Africa which is a single landmass is 1 continent. The Americas which is a single landmass is another continent. Oceania is another continent. Pacific is 1 ocean. Atlantic is another ocean.
