Capitalism is nothing but neocolonialism. What is needed is domestic freedom, not internation openness. Venezuela gives its people freedom to trade within. But only natural resources and foreign transaction is under govt.Socialism should die everywhere in my opinion. It has no place in the modern world. Socialists and commies are like parasites. They are not going to care that an RW govt. in India helped them. Once stable, they won't think twice b4 helping the naxalites and commies here. While Capitalists at least are willing to make a deal as long as its profitable.
It was within USA rights to ensure that their resources is not used by Japan to wage war against them in future. It was Japanese arrogance and sense of entitlement that they deserve USA oil as if it was their rights, made them attack Pearl harbour. Japan should have simply found another source of oil lik Indo-China region (Indonesia, Malaysia) which Japanese did anyways a few months later. Why bomb Pearl harbour like fools? They did the same even in WW. They sanctioned Japan, and blockaded their incoming oil shipments to force Japan into desperation. Once Japan realized that they are trying to starve them to death, they had no option but to hit Pearl Harbor. And Muricans got the excuses they needed
It appears India is attempting to defy warnings issued by the United States to countries not to buy Venezuela’s oil amid the country’s current political mayhem. India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a strong statement signaling its dismay over the US pressure tactic, according to Sputnik News. The U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton, last week, issued warnings to countries and companies not to buy crude oil from Venezuela. His warning came following Latin American country’s Oil Minister Manuel Quevedo said during a visit to India that Venezuela wants to sell more oil to the Indian market. However, the spokesman of India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Raveesh Kumar, had said, “Venezuela is the chair of OPEC and GECF. We don’t have any barter system with Venezuela; commercial considerations and related factors will determine the value of trade which we have with any country.” US National Security Adviser John Bolton had earlier warned that “nations and firms that support Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s theft of Venezuelan resources will not be forgotten”. But India’s position is not yet clear, as its official statement only stated, “Venezuela to find a political solution to resolve their differences through constructive dialogue and discussion without resorting to violence. India and Venezuela enjoy close and cordial relations.”
