It will be the buffer that India lost in Tibet being independent because of the silly pacifism of Nehru.what kind of geographical advantage can bhutan give india in case of a war with chins?
actually it will be a good change as our people on this side of the border will regularly get to see State Sponsored Circus organised by the PLA within Bhutan border..I'm sure the IAS staff will love having IA troops camped on the Bhutan-India border be replaced with PLA troops. Quite a decent trade for a few dollars and cents
I hope that would be the case but the fact is, India can't lose neighbors to China. We've already lost Nepal which was an essential buffer. SL also trying to challenge India by giving Chinese some space. China is practically encircling India and also helping Maoists. We need to act wisely.I think we have seen the only half of the move...... Subsidy is removed and it will be back within few days to complete the move...just to give a reminder to Bhutan PM.
Absolutely, our economy is in mess because of govt's populist moves. If we can't afford tactical alliances, that would be a shame and an indicator how messed up our economy is...Free money is what small nations are looking for. China provides that. Bhutan is crucial for Indian security. A few million dollars would not have made any difference for India to keep their population on our side.
All your friends are bought. Puckystan, NK, SL and whatever little influence in Nepal Burma etc. When you run out of money, and you will, you will run out of friends too. When did India get so self conceited? Once Bhutan tilts towards China the situation will get irredeemable, just look at cases of SL, Maldives... And the loss can't be measured in money terms. Don't be over confident to take the risk!
Old miser India'd better cancel its ill advised decision, and beg Bhutan to accept the "subsidy" like before.
Exactly....And we dont need to bother about these small neighbours who are so fond of China Card. Just assume there was never such buffer states between us and our mighty neighbour. All your friends are bought. Puckystan, NK, SL and whatever little influence in Nepal Burma etc. When you run out of money, and you will, you will run out of friends too.
Of course. Buying friends is the normal mode of international relations...All your friends are bought. Puckystan, NK, SL and whatever little influence in Nepal Burma etc. When you run out of money, and you will, you will run out of friends too.
That's not true. Russia, France, Sweden, etc. are all happy to call themselves India's friends, so long as India keeps buying their wares. This is great news! Now the Indian have no friends!
What shit you chimcos have done so far with so many friends (pun intended). This is great news! Now the Indian have no friends!
Of course. Buying friends is the normal mode of international relations...
How conveniently you can defecate your hypocrisy in a single thread ?That's not true. Russia, France, Sweden, etc. are all happy to call themselves India's friends, so long as India keeps buying their wares.
Just like China! This is great news! Now the Indian have no friends!
Now we'll have to eat lunch alone . Grow up!This is great news! Now the Indian have no friends!
India a rising power, pls learn a bit from status-quo-ist Uncle @TrueSpirit>>>All your friends are bought. Puckystan, NK, SL and whatever little influence in Nepal Burma etc. When you run out of money, and you will, you will run out of friends too.
LoL you think India & Bhutan were frds like Jay Viru of Sholey ?? Nobody's friend of nobody in this world. We do have frds just like others, everyone has strategic friendships & we do have strategic friends. Now go back in your crap communist hole. This is great news! Now the Indian have no friends!
Howmany friends do China have ?? Like you IMAGINED about India & Bhutan ??That's not true. Russia, France, Sweden, etc. are all happy to call themselves India's friends, so long as India keeps buying their wares.
Care to explain whatever that means...I stated a simple fact which is public knowledge. How does this list of nation negates my assertion ?
