America, while being located in such a manner that the chances of invading it are virtually nil, has generals who use scare tactics and overblow world events to not just maintain, but increase their defense budget manifold. On the other hand, notwithstanding the fact that we do not even have a proper homegrown arms industry, we are surrounded by jihadist nations and an expansionist Communist one, with no reliable allies to boot, the complacent chalta-hai attitude vis-à-vis our military is mind-boggling.

While the courage of our boys in the armed forces is beyond a shadow of a doubt, the lackadaisical, laissez-faire attitude of our bureaucratic and political leadership and even amongst a lot of the military generals will come back to bite us in the ass. A country is only as strong as its army. Conducting regular military exercises should be a must to maintain military readiness. The repercussions from the Afghan debacle are sure to follow.

Perhaps the need of the hour is large-scale rearmament, like pre-World War Two Germany. When this pandemic is behind us and things seem to be on the uphill, perhaps even military conscription can be explored.

You kuffar don't you see they wear white clothes now . On the serious note, no use of arguing with these types they will sport Tali's no matter what people like us say. They have their own agendas. There are nth recent videos floating around, showing Taliban atrocities but they are still being characterize as 'Moderate', 'Changed Taliban' etc.
