These guys won't rest until all student loans are cancelled, medicare for all and free public college is implemented, we stop enforcing immigration law and give a pathway to citizenship for all illegals who cross the border, give reparations to the African American community, literally replace the function of the police with social workers/mental health professionals in a lot of cases and handicap them elsewhere, and teach woke politics in every institution, even places that it has no business whatsoever like the military. To them, destroying a girl's life because she made a video with the N-word in it 2 years prior when she was 15 (Mimi Groves), not even to a black person at all, let alone derogatively, but just as a joke among her friends, is justice. That's how much resentment and destructive misanthropy exists within the African-American community. Kamala will be worse than Biden in order to keep that appetite satiated, but not as bad as Bernie/squad.

If that was the goal, why did they spend so much time in the Afganistan setting up a democratic government? All they had to do was to give power to tribal chiefs.

That was because when you invade a foreign country you replace its incumbent government with a puppet that will dance on your tune.

Who said US didn't pay money or favors to local chief and warlord? They periodically paid these local chieftains so that these chieftains didn't cause problem to American forces.
