might be ghataks....but sniper highly doubtful..he is carrying INSAS after all...

Ghatak are used in CT ops, Infentry Sniper dont get such gilly suits over deserts, And why Para SF coz 10th Para aka Scorpene (dedicated 2 desert region KUtch/Rajyastan )..

10th para in previous ex..


And they have been seen in previous ex in this terrain in same gillie suits..

I assume now days looking other forces, they are giving these gilli suits not only to snipers but the whole platoon or squads ..

I have seen SF in jungle warfare using such gillie suits..

He is not a marksman, But a Rifleman, All get such suits coz they are Para SF..

Snipper is a team of two. while one man carries the snipper the other man carries with him his INSAS. Normaly he performs as spotter.

Both are true. But a snipper would alwyas make his own camo according to surroundings.

loos like TAR21 is a standard rifle for paras...but what about bulletproof jackets....?? havent seen on paras or on regs...!!
