Another from redditor pgoi!
SSLV is a Four stage LV while the VIkram 3 will need lot of Strap on Booster to achieve its.Skyroot Aerospace will achieve 500kg payload capacity with their Vikram 3 rocket. Whereas, SSLV is already being made for 500kg payload carrying capacity.
Should ISRO stop working on SSLV, looks like private sector can handle it. ISRO should now concentrate more on ULV and Admire kind of projects.SSLV is a Four stage LV while the VIkram 3 will need lot of Strap on Booster to achieve its.
Dont worry nigga Isro will shoot off the SSLV to a PSU Company NSIL which will handle all the SSLV and PSLV launches.Should ISRO stop working on SSLV, looks like private sector can handle it. ISRO should now concentrate more on ULV and Admire kind of projects.
SSLV launching site is still on eastern coast but manuvare will not be needed to avoid Sri Lanka.
Yall niggas so SSLV launched from eastern has the capability of LEO at 300 KM 800 KG payload at 500KM 500 KG payload and SSO of 700 KM at 300 KG. But the eastern launch has to do a Big Dog leg. That is not needed from the western coast.
Then probably the payload capacity would see a huge increase more information is needed on the Payload Fairing to get the clear picture.SSLV launching site is still on eastern coast but manuvare will not be needed to avoid Sri Lanka.
That is true but the NSIL is still showing the launch on its backlog and they will probably not give up the SSLV without any launches. SSLV can increase its range of payload with additional Strap on Boosters.Vikram is way better than SSLV in terms of mobility and erection time.
Not a very great gap to cover once first launch is there.
I have even seen US cancelling NASA projects when they see their private cos bringing something better. Indeed if ISRO wasn't interested in Vikram rocket, they wouldn't have collaborated with Skyroot at first place.

Click on "View attachment 40909".I have not seen the payload Fairing.
Still comparing the other launcher like Kosmos 1 2 and 3 , Epsilon , LM 6 its payload capacity is extreme low, hope the final Payload is much larger.Click on "View attachment 40909".
Let's see what the future holds.Still comparing the other launcher like Kosmos 1 2 and 3 , Epsilon , LM 6 its payload capacity is extreme low, hope the final Payload is much larger.
Nothing Nigga, @Indx TechStyle is a fan of Skyroots.Erection time means ? Both can be readied by 24 hours . Tech and other specifications almost similar , then Why you think Vikram will be better Bro? Anyways both are Indian
Private industry taking interest in Space is a good thing mate.Nothing Nigga, @Indx TechStyle is a fan of Skyroots.
After it's mature the technology can be transferred to the private players, best option imo. I am glad that companies like skyroot and others are visible at the horizon.Should ISRO stop working on SSLV, looks like private sector can handle it.
