The Pecheneg is listed in the Degtyarev Factory (ZiD), but not the Pecheneg Bullpup conversion. The Pecheneg Bullpup conversion is probably a prototype.

Bundeswehr Officially Certifie l\Lack of Accuracy of the G36 Assault Rifle

German news media have been on fire over the past couple of days over a report that is expected to be released to the public soon. It is apparent that the audit report of the G36 rifle, conducted by the Ernst Mach Institute and Bundeswehr's Technical Center for Weapons and Ammunition, is especially damning. A report summary from faz.net is replicated below, first in machine-translated English, then in native German:

After months of testing a group of experts appointed by the Ministry of Defence has the G36 assault rifle now officially certifies lack of accuracy. Both at high ambient temperatures and at a heating of the gun by duration Fires set the experts precision problems fixed. "The reason for the declining impact probability is not one of the components, such as ammunition or weapon, but the whole system," says the report.

At the 372-page report of the Federal Court, the Ernst-Mach-Institute of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, a Technical Center of the Army and the Bundeswehr Research Institute for Plant and supplies have contributed. Set in the following problems:

Heating with continuous fire:By design, the G36 will significantly hotter than fire at continuous comparison weapons. "This leads to a decrease in the hit probability when G36 occurs even at low numbers of shots with all the studied types of ammunition and -losen."

Outside temperatures:When changing the outside temperatures hit probability Decrease "in partially significant". The precision problems are most pronounced in the range 15 to 45 degrees Celsius.

Humidity:"The change between dry and humid environment leads the G36 to such restrictions as a change in the ambient temperature." The problem, however, presented a significantly slower.

Sunlight:For side solar radiation forgave the weapon housing and shift on the meeting point of the rifle.

Ammunition:The accuracy differs between the munitions from, although in some cases by 35 percentage points. The precision problem admit it but even with the best cartridges."

Current status of Indian manufactured AK-47

Hello friends, When I searched in internet about the manufacture of AK-47 rifles in India, the search engine threw up a number of stories which I'm listing below.
1. When IOF showcased indigenous AK-47 (or so called A-7) in a Defence Expo in Delhi in early 2000s, Mr.Kalashnikov threatened to sue IOF for copyright violation.
2. In order to make sure that the copyright is not violated, OFB has designed a new rifle which is based on AK47 but the internal mechanism is different
3. Russian Izhmesh has signed a deal with an "Indian Private Firm" to manufacture AK103 in India to cater the requirements of Indian Central and State Police forces
4. I read in CAG reports that "Army imported 10 crore rounds of ammunition and 1 lakh AK 47 rifles at a cost of Rs 85 crore as an alternative arrangement against contracts concluded in June 1995, December 1996 and August 1997 due to delayed and short supply of weapons and ammunition by Ordnance Factories."
5. In the mean time, around 2006-07, one product called "Assault Rifle 7.62 mm" (ofbindia.gov.in/products/data/weapons/wsc/21.htm) appeared in OFB website.
6. After Kalashnikov's death Russian govt arms export wing took a strong stance that it is illegal to manufacture AKs outside Russia without license because the license that was given during soviet era has expired long time ago.
7. Newspapers reported about a new rifle called "Trichy Assault Rifle" which is not only chambered for AK47 ammo but the barrel length, rifling grooves are exactly the same as that of AK
Has India obtained manufacturing license to make its own AK47?
Or it is still importing AKs?
What happened to Trichy AR?
Who is using the "Assault Rifle 7.62 mm"?
Thanks

It looks like Bren MK3 LMG. Because they have a cone shaped flash hider and they were chambered for .303. Upgraded Bren L4A1s are chambered for 7.62 and they do not have this conical shaped flash hider.....

An assault rifle used by Britain's counter-terror police does not shoot straight when fired in warm weather, a new study reveals. With nearly 5,600 in operation in the UK, the study has raised concerns over their continued use.

The G36 automatic assault rifle is now under review as tests conducted by the German army found that, at long range, it is inaccurate by up to 20 feet when the temperature exceeds 86 F (30C). The weapon was also shown to be unreliable when exposed to high humidity and fired repeatedly

You are way too ignorant to be on a defence forum. With all your melech babble you cannot differentiate between a G-3 and G-36.

Pakis don't use G-36 you dumbass.

Well G-3s are one of thee finest weapons to be rolled out from NATO arsenal in late 50s and since then it is a no non sense weapon though it is too bulky for the 21st centuries warfare.Still old is gold.

Russia's iconic firearms manufacturer Kalashnikov Concern will for the first time introduce the upgraded AK-74M at the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9, the company said in a release on May 7.

Kalashnikov has developed a universal upgrade kit for AK assault rifles, allowing the effectiveness of the weapon to be increased by 1.5 times at a distance of up to 300 meters at any time of day and in different climatic conditions.

It also allows the fitting of optoelectronic aiming devices, laser sights and flashlights for use in conditions of poor visibility as well as low noise shooting devices.

"The state-of-the-art firing system, upgraded with a new set of equipment, can be adjusted for any tactical mission and will greatly expand the potential use of the weapon," said the concern's chief designer Sergei Urzhumtsev.

The Kalashnikov Concern has developed three sets of additional equipment for the assault rifle for use by combined arms units, military intelligence and units of the special operations forces.

According to the company, the new equipment can be used to modify any previously released AK model. The advanced assault rifle is planned to enter mass production before the end of the year.
