I was referring to the pics below the first one. Plus, SPETSNAZ are not really the types that need any training. Their training is the most ferocious among special forces on the planet.

I never knew of the need of helmet mounts considering Russia has nothing to put on them.

They innovated HMDs even before the West, made them realized its effectiveness during a German MiG-29 vs F-16s exercises. Iam sure they have NV and other stuff to use if needed.

Not necessarily light units. SpetsNaz are actually picked from the best performers in the regular infantry and other services. You can have a PK wielding SpetsNaz as well!

I don't think so. I think they come under exterior or defense ministries. They are the direct successors of the KGB; surely no internal matter this. OMON (ОМОН), yes, probably is internal.
