Australian nuclear subs will be banned from New Zealand waters: Jacinda Ardern

But how will kiwis find out submarine if Aussies don't tell them:bplease:
These liberal twa*s start shivering in their pants just by hearing the word "nuclear"- as if it's the new 'N'-word, while conveniently forgetting the fact that the gunda protecting their as*es owns the biggest stockpile in the world.

Yeah, we wish. But when has India missed an opportunity to not miss an opportunity? Mirage 2k, C17, Embraer.
Waiting for the next border flare-up to expedite the clearance of Project 75i
Sadly we missed great opportunities that could have transformed our capabilities to a new level. next in line is the scorpene. we had previous missed on those german submarines too. we lost all the know how. The south korean offering is the improved version of that german model is what i know.

Untrustworthy US announces trilateral defence partnership with UK & AUS (AUKUS), a military alliance. US also pledged to share critical technologies to AUS & UK. India has been denied similar know how technology when requested. Pretty clear US see us as a proxy to contain china and business opportunities.
With Democrats in power, I dont see any kind of allignment with India. Democrats who are the part of Global Left Ecosystem wants Modi and BJP out by 2024. And they will attempt a soft regime change by than.

The US is providing nuclear submarine technology to Australia.
Along with the British they have formed a new grouping called AUKUS which will help Australia build nuclear powered submarines but not nuclear armed.
Reports are in many Western media channels including CNN.
So fully credible.
Fucking shit. After more than 50 years, an half century Uncle Sam is giving such technology to another country . Decades ago the British were the beneficiary.

Though Washington is notorious for adding myraid strings of conditions to any high technology transfer, how they will treat the Aussies is to be seen.

Should India even try for something similar for our SSN programme. Is it advisable to depend on the US at all.

Not too surprising.
Australia has been backyard for UK and US.
They have been doing sh*t in Australis since ages.
UK did their Nuclear tests in Australian outback.
US has deep space network station in Australia.

If there is one country to which they can provide any tech is Australia only.

Australia has always been under US thumb, nothing new there. As far as India is concerned, Ruskies have helped us substantially in our "strategic" programs- missiles and subs, and the only difference that India might develop with Ruskies is due to the alliance game- Chini+Ruski vs India+US+Jap.... For something as critical as subs, I don't think Americans will even offer us any technology, nor should we take it even if that's the case. Muricans have a bad habit of playing from all the sides to keep every side contained, or as they call "rules-based world order"- they will most definitely flirt with Pakistan and the Taliban(certain factions) in the near future to keep Asia(India, China, Russia and most importantly Iran- their Jewish lobby's archnemesis) contained. For something as critical as a nuclear submarine, we better stick with countries like France and South Korea or Russia- who don't play sides with a hypocritical mask on.

Did Biden just killed QUAD with AUKUS?

With announcement of AUKUS which is according to Biden is military alliance for generations to come, while earlier this year Biden said QUAD isn't a military alliance. So basically he indicated his intentions. Also in his speech on AUKUS biden mentioned QUAD after ASEAN. This maybe another indication.

Now if this is true, then both Japan and India are thrown under the bus by Biden. Also other Asian countries who had high hopes, well their hopes are quashed too. French are also out of this Anglo-Saxon alliance. On top of that France just lost $90 billion sub contract to Aussies.

And what about NZ? They are Anglo-Saxons too, why left them out?

Well drafted arguments.
We don't know whether the US will even think about assisting India in the nuclear submarine field. Issue is too serious as our 2nd strike capability is based on our SSBN's and SSN's. There cannot be any compromise with our national security.

Russia is the only country which had come forward to help us in the strategic programmes in the past. So the mutual trust factor is high.. We don't have an similar level of trust with Washington.

Of course, US nuclear submarine reactors are probably the best in the world. They have reactors which last the entire life of the submarine. No need to cut open the hull and change the fuel rods at intervals.

I think that is because of difference in Uranium enrichment levels. Americans use 90% enrcihed Uranium whereas we use 40%, I think. There may be other factors also, but this seems to be a major one.
