In fact only difrencess between 30km and 50km range is power supply - in sencond case it's based on vehicle power not on battery. The radio antena is the same in 30km and 50km version - and it's portable by one men. In fact whole Fly Eye system is portable by two men.
10km version (for special forces) is based on micro terminal and typical military radio whit antena (unable to find on internet photos)

Polish Fly Eye drone is on top "short list" in trade for Kazakhstan.

*during test in poland both removed turrets (RCWS-30 and UTD-30) where unable to work under -18 degrees below zero. Those value (-18C) is nothing special in many region of Poland or Ukraine, ol Belarus.

Maybe for that reson now in trade for UAV for Kazakhstan they are only polish Fly Eye, russian Irkut-10, and some drone from Belarus.

News from the REGINA program vol.I

1. Unclassified 155mm wheel SPH "KRYL" ("Krill") visualisation:

For wheel SPH Krill it was choosen Israeli ATMOS 2000 howitzer artilery part.

Orginally polish manufacurer - Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW) was choosen between two options:

a) NEXTER Ceasar artilery part
b) ATMOS 2000 artilery part

Finally it was chosen Israeli ATMOS 2000 part - for sevral resons:
- greater fire rate
- bigger azimuth fire allowed zones (ATMOS2000 have bigger azimuth degree for the gun then Ceaser)
- lower weight
- mucht better ToT - Poland will have fully licence for ATMOS2000 gun, autoloader, etc All parts will be produced in Poland.
- better price

Until 2025 it will be bought 7 division of the 155mm wheel SPH "KRYL" ("Krill") to replace all 2S1 and vz.77 Dana howitzer.
So whole naumber will be circa 168 howitzers + sevral (4?) for artilery school.

Until 2015 first 155mm Krill division will be rady, and consist:

24x Krill 155mm SPHs (3x batteries eacht whit 8 SPHs - and this will be split on 2 platoons eacht whit 4 guns)
2-3x HQ command vehicles for the division level
1x vehicle liaison officer
1x HQ reccons command vehicle
several recon vehicles for guidance artillery
1x vehicle whit UAAV
3x topographic reconnaissance vehicles
1x meteorological station
3x HQ command vehicles for battery level
6x HQ command vehicles for platoon command
1x HQ vehicle for supply comand
6x ammo supply vehicles
1x mobile (on vehicle) repair workshop for weapons and electronics
1x mobile (on vehicle) repair workshop for vehicles
1x heavy wheeled evacuation vehicle

And next "news" for 120mm wheeled motar and 155mm SPHs:

polish industry (Telesystem Mesko, Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna) whit ukrinian industry (Lucz and Progress) is developing precision munition for polish artilery systems. Whole program is Amunicja Precyzyjnego Rażenia (APR) (Precision Ammunition Destruction?) for motars (120mm APR) and howitzer (155 APR)

APR 120 lenght: 800mm, weight: 16,8kg, max range up to: 8000m
APR 120:

APR 155 lenght: 1250mm, weight up to: 48kg (HE inside no less then 8kg), max range up to 20km.
APR 155:

Both will have combined guidance - inertial (INS) whit timer to activated ground laser indicator:

all is devleoped to achive as short as it is possible time when laser finder will be use - propably circa 5s is achivable. It shoud incarase a lot survivality of the laser finder (indicator?) and it's operators.

1. Polish army is close to choice "smart munition" for 155mm systems:
Krab SPH and wheeld "Kryl" (Crill)

Polish MoD wants to buy between 500 and more then 1500 systems for Krab SPH (Crab) + still unkown number for future Crill 155mm (Kryl).

for polish MoD was offered:
- BONUS mk.2 (NEXTER)
- SMARt (Gesellschaft für Intelligente Wirksysteme mbH)
- Excalibur - SADARM (Raytheon / Bofors)

In this year will be chosen which of them will be used in polish artyilery system.

2. Trade for mobile small radars for polish army was started.
Polish Army wants to buy 104 radars until 2023.
Now polish army is using USA AN/PPS-5 MSTAR in some number (more then 20?)

Mają nie tylko dwukrotnie większy zasięg niż konkurencyjne konstrukcje, ale są również od nich bardziej odporne na uszkodzenia i w konsekwencji na przypadkową eksplozję. Inżynierowie z Wojskowego Instytutu Technicznego Uzbrojenia z Zielonki opracowali 120-milimetrowe pociski odłamkowo-burzące do nowych polskich samobieżnych moździerzy Rak.


Samobieżne 120-milimetrowe moździerze Rak, które występują w wersji na podwoziu kołowym lub gąsienicowym, to obok 155-milimetrowych armatohaubic Krab oraz Kryl jeden z trzech nowych rodzajów uzbrojenia, jakie otrzymają w najbliższych latach pododdziały artyleryjskie.

Ponieważ zgodnie z wytycznymi MON, podobnie jak w przypadku haubic, także moździerze mają strzelać produkowaną w Polsce amunicją, rodzima zbrojeniówka już od dłuższego czasu pracuje nad nowoczesnymi pociskami o stosownym kalibrze.

Na tegorocznym MiÄ™dzynarodowym Salonie PrzemysÅ‚u Obronnego w Kielcach swojÄ… najnowszÄ… propozycjÄ™ w tej dziedzinie – 120-mm granat odÅ‚amkowo-burzÄ…cy zaprezentowaÅ‚ Wojskowy Instytut Techniczny Uzbrojenia z Zielonki. Jak podkreÅ›la jeden z jego konstruktorów ppÅ‚k RafaÅ‚ Bazela, jednym z priorytetów podczas prac badawczo-rozwojowych byÅ‚y sprawy zwiÄ…zane z bezpiecznym użytkowaniem amunicji.

– Pocisk zostaÅ‚ tak zaprojektowany, aby do minimum ograniczyć ryzyko wystÄ…pienia samoczynnej eksplozji, gdy zostanie on uszkodzony. Opracowany przez inżynierów z WITU 120-mm granat odłamkowo-burzący waży prawie piętnaście kilogramów. Masa materiału wybuchowego to ponad dwa kilogramy. Jak wyjaśniają konstruktorzy, nabój przeznaczony jest do rażenia siły żywej, niszczenia nieopancerzonych wozów bojowych oraz umocnień polowych.

Innowacyjność pocisku doceniło jury tegorocznego MSPO, przyznając jego twórcom nagrodę Defender.
