Without deliberating on whether Pakistan can afford it or not the focus should be on the OP if he can prove his claim. As far as F-35 being operated by Pakistan in the future is a concern then India must make sure we check these plans using our diplomatic power at the same time run simulations for any future Pakistani upgrades to match, counter and mitigate any challenge to our edge if there is any.

Close on the heels of a deal to supply Mi-35 attack helicopters, Pakistan has discussed the purchase of Su-35 combat jets from Russia--a move that is not expected to go down well in New Delhi.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has discussed buying Su-35 ‘Flanker-E’ fighter aircraft from Russia in “potentially the largest defence deal between the two countries”, leading defence publication Jane’s reported on its website.
An unnamed senior Pakistani government official confirmed the discussions. However, a final decision on the deal is yet to be made, the report said.
The Pakistan official was responding to Russian media reports that deputy foreign minister Sergei Ryabkov had said talks were underway for the sale of an unspecified number of Su-35s.
The official said “it’s too early to say if a deal will conclude and the terms”, but the discussions reflected “Russia’s willingness to sell advanced hardware (to) Pakistan despite Moscow’s longstanding ties with India”, the report said.

Don't take it as a offence but the way you people always fail to put facts in any discussion begs at least one question.

The reason is the Religion. Abrahamic religion are based on believe system while others follow truth seeking.

When a News came out Muslim/Christian do not prefer to do a fact check (due to mind shaping by religion) they just simply believe as truth because seeking/verifying truth is not in their nature. That's why If someone telling lies in their support they take as a truth ( believe) and if person is having non supportive view they believe it as a false ( again believe).

What do you think? Russia will announce that we are selling Su35 to Pakistan because India cancled the Mig 29 deal? This is an inference , which is drawn by individual based on the knowledge he has gathered from past. It can either be right or wrong.
