Signs of recession in Pakistan’s economy
LAHORE: The economy is in the grip of a recession. The performance of the agriculture sector is below par. The output of major crops has either stagnated or declined. Similarly, the capacity utilisation of the industrial sector has decreased.

The large-scale manufacturing (LSM) index remained negative in the first eight months of the current fiscal year 2018-19. A slowdown in the industrial sector will have spillover effects on the services sector which, in turn, will bring down activities in the wholesale, retail, transport, communications and financial sub-sectors.

Pakistan's debt worth $27b to mature in two years: IMF

https://tribune.com.pk/story/1962274/2-pakistans-debt-worth-27b-mature-two-years-imf/

50 billion dollars just to say afloat. I hope we have a plan to secure our borders and contain the coming implosion within Pakistan's border itself. No refugees should be allowed in at any cost.

We must make a wall, yes but that wont solve anything when the unwashed hordes start lining up.

Ghar Wapasi and Akhanda Bharat (in no specific order, but would prefer Ghar Wapasi before Akhanda Bharat takes place) are the ONLY SOLUTION

Effects of IMF:

1. Salaries of para-military forces may go unpaid.
2. Paki Army will have to reduce arms purchase.
3. States will have less money, so Police may reduce in size. Higher criminal activity will result into higher heavy handedness by ISI controlled elements thus taking public anger to a record level.
4. Education and social welfare will see cuts. Already bad education will become worse.
5. No treatment of poor people. People will die of curable diseases.
6. Public transport system will remain in bad state.
7. The competitiveness will not increase meaningfully despite depreciation in rupee due to increase in energy prices. Exports will not rise.

That will never happen as long as TSPA exists in its present form.
Good for us. Means common abduls will feel even more pain, which is what they deserve. Our goal should be to get the paki military budget up to 50-60% of their total budget eventually. Another 25% in interest payments of foreign loans. That's how pakistan will collapse.

Common Abduls get comforts through Jihad, not economy. In the name of Allah, they will sacrifice everything and yet be happy.

Jihad is about killing and taking the other person's resource. It is not free but it is the dead that pays eventually
The use of jihad in India context is basically a war against India. These jihadi are just soldiers by another name. The traditional meaning of jihad does not matter.

These jihadi are paid salaries by their organization and money is paid to their families in case of death.

The people who join Jaish-e-Muhammad are joining it as a job, just like a Sipahi. It is Yindoo misconception that these are fighting for free.

Though religious indoctrination and drugs play a large part in the acts they commit.

Nonsense. People don't always work for money. Money has no inherent value. It is the reward of Jannat and 72 hoor for eternity that make people fight. The Srilankan bombers were children of billionaire trader, for example. What salary did they demand?

It is you who are corrupt and short sighted who only think of short term gain. Not everyone think that way

Jaish and Lashkar do not operate the way IS operates.
Jaish and Lashkar are Paki army supported organizations.

Did you see Jaish and Lashkar in Syria? Paki army needs a tight control over these people because they serve a political purpose of State of Pakistan.

IS a a different animal.

Good resource on IS: https://www.csis.org/programs/trans...rorism-backgrounders/islamic-state-khorasan-k

Economy suffers major setback in FY19, growth rate slows to 3.3pc

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s economy suffered a major setback with all key sectors failing to perform according to expectations resulting in just 3.3 per cent economic growth rate, significantly short of 6.2pc growth target for the year 2018-19.

“Growth of agricultural, industrial and services sectors is 0.85pc, 1.4pc and 4.7pc respectively,” said an official announcement on Thursday, painting a dismal performance of the overall economy in the first year of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government. “The provisional growth of GDP for the year 2018-19 has been estimated at 3.3 pc”.

The government has anticipated 3.8pc in agriculture, 7.6pc in industry and 6.5pc in services, thus target of 6.2pc GDP growth. All these targets fell flat.

At this point, Pakistan shouldn't even have a formal economy. The administration should just tell them...you are on your own, sow some potatoes and rear some donkeys and sustain your livelihood.

Neither do they produce any economic value, nor do they pay tax, nor does the government provide any civic amenities like clean water. People are drinking gutter water and getting polio. The civilians and administration have nothing for give-and-take. Everyone is doing their own thing. The Army has just held these people captive as human shield to blackmail the rest of the world of a mass casualty in case of an attack on the Army oligarchs. People think the Army protects the Paki civilians, it's the other way round. The 20 crore people ensure the Army's survival; Otherwise wiping out 1 million Paki infantry men wouldn't take us a lot of time.
