He is scared of being arrested..
Why should he run away when he thinks he is innocent and he can prove it ..thats what he was saying out loud every where...on the mic...NOW what happened to his false claims of innocence.

That means he is what the intel agencies clam him to be.

Govt Cancels FCRA Licences of Over 11,000 NGOs As They Fail To Seek Renewal
NEW DELHI: The Union home ministry canceled the license of 11,319 NGOs on Thursday under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010, after they failed to apply for its renewal within the deadline of June 30, 2016. The validity of FCRA registration of these NGOs had been extended until October 31, 2016 (the earlier deadline being September 30) vide a home ministry order dated March 29, 2016.
  1. The Union home ministry canceled the license of 11,319 NGOs on Thursday under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010, after they failed to apply for its renewal within the deadline of June 30, 2016.
  2. The licenses were canceled as they failed to apply for renewal within the deadline of June 30, 2016
  3. The validity of FCRA registration of these NGOs had been extended until Oct 31, 2016
However, they were required to submit applications for renewal of the registration latest by June 30, 2016. On Thursday, the home ministry put out a list of all NGOs that failed to honor the deadline, stating that their license was deemed canceled from November 1, 2016. This means that they will no longer be able to receive contributions from foreign donors.

In another order on Wednesday, the home ministry said it had closed the application for FCRA license renewal in 1,736 cases due to "non-submission of documents or deficient documents or another statutory shortcoming within the stipulated time".

The 1,736 NGOs, which include some branches of the Ramakrishna Mission, Mata Amritanandamayi Math as well as the Krishnamurthi Foundation of India, were among those who had applied online for renewal of their registrations before June 30, 2016.

The home ministry has now asked the 1,736 NGOs to submit their representations in support of deficiency in the application, through designated email usfcramha@ gov.in by November 8, 2016, failing which no representation will be accepted.

The ministry had canceled the registration of around 10,000 NGOs in 2015 as they had not filed FCRA returns for three years in a row. According to figures put out by the home ministry in reply to questions in Parliament, there were 59 cancellations in 2014 and just four in 2013. As many as 4,138 NGOs lost their foreign funding license in 2012.

Govt bans Islamic preacher Zakir Naik's NGO for 5 years with immediate effect

New Delhi: Controversial Islamist Preacher Zakir Naik's NGO 'Islamic Research Foundation' has been banned for five years. The government has asked the law enforcing Agencies to maintain a strict surveillance on the activities of all establishments of the organisation, sources said.

The non-profit was earlier placed under the "Prior permission category", which stopped it from receiving foreign funds without getting nod from the Central government.

Today's decision was taken by the cabinet committee on security after Mr Naik was found to deliver provocative speeches.

Police have already been filed criminal cases against Zakir Naik for allegedly inciting young men -- the action came after Bangladesh raised the issue with India following the terror attack on Dhaka's Holey Artisan Cafe last July. Bangladesh had accused him of making speeches that could have incited some of the terrorists.

During investigations, it was also found that his foundation was accepting dubious funding which is used to make Peace TV - an arm of the IRF - to air provocative programmes.

But the non-profit's registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulations Act was renewed inadvertently in September, which led to the suspension of a Joint Secretary and four other officials in the Home Ministry.

Mr Naik, who is said to be in Saudi Arabia, has refused to return to India this year.

The Islamic orator is banned in the UK and Canada for his hate speech against other religions. He is among 16 banned Islamic scholars in Malaysia.

NIA raids Zakir Naik's Islamic Research Foundation premises - Times of India
MUMBAI: The

National Investigation Agency
(NIA) on Saturday conducted raids at 10 premises of controversial preacher Zakir Naik's Islamic Research Foundation+ (IRF) in Mumbai.

The NIA had registered a case against Zakir Naik+ and others on Friday under 10,13,18 of UAPA and section 153A of IPC.

The searches began on Saturday morning with the help of local police after a case was registered by the NIA's Mumbai branch on Friday night under 153-A of IPC (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion...and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony) and various sections of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

The action by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) came barely a few days after the Union Cabinet declared IRF as a banned organisation under UAPA.

IRF came under the scanner of various security agencies after one of the terrorists involved in the Dhaka cafe attack had allegedly posted on social media that they had been inspired by Naik's speeches.

Some of the youths from Mumbai suburbs, who had left their home to join Islamic State earlier this year, were also allegedly inspired by the preacher.

The speeches of Naik, who is currently out of the country apparently to evade arrest, are banned in the UK and Canada as well as in Malaysia.

The home ministry found the NGO was allegedly having dubious links with Peace TV:pound::pound:, an international Islamic channel, accused of propagating terrorism.:rofl:

According to the home ministry, Naik, who heads the IRF, has allegedly made many provocative speeches and engaged in terror propaganda.

Maharashtra Police has also registered criminal cases against Naik for his alleged involvement in radicalisation of youths and luring them into terror activities.

Naik also transferred IRF's foreign funds to Peace TV for making "objectionable" programmes. Most of the programmes, which were made in India, contained alleged hate speeches of Naik, who had reportedly "urged all Muslims to be terrorists" through Peace TV.:rofl:

An educational trust run by Naik has already been prevented from receiving foreign funds and agencies are looking into their activities.

Foreign State Sponsored Hackers ? Greenpeace India FCRA licence renewed online by Hackers
Published December 14, 2016
SOURCE: THE HINDU

The Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licences of three NGOs, whose licences were cancelled, were renewed online recently The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) suspects their computers have been hacked after the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licences of three NGOs, whose licences were canceled, were renewed online recently.

The Ministry has asked Computer Emergency Response System-India (CERT-IN) to probe if the online system, which was introduced in 2015 has been hacked into.

Recently through online, the FCRA licences of 13,000 NGOs were renewed.

Among those renewed were that of social activist Teesta Setalvad’s Sabrang Trust and Greenpeace India, both canceled by the Ministry in the past one year. A third NGO of Ms. Setalvad, Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP), was put under the prior permission category.

The licences of all the three NGOs were curiously renewed online in August, an MHA inquiry has found.

“In the online portal, there is a system of red flagging NGOs, but even junior officers could clear it. Now we are overhauling the online system and only the joint secretary can clear the red flagged NGOs,” said a senior Home Ministry official.

The official said that they do not rule out the role of any insider in the renewal of the “high profile” cases.

May be somebody in the ministry renewed the FCRA license assuming that nobody would notice. This absurd theory has been floated either to save the Minister from embarrassment or to save the erring/corrupt babus from punishment.

Such applications usually store User and Activity Logs, it is almost impossible for the culprit to remain hidden for so long.
