Looks like they might have a flyable prototype, enlarged screenshot from video appears real....so much for people claiming it’s a plywood model and propaganda. Sukhoi is promising to reveal something tomorrow at MAKS airshow. Maybe a flight?

This has some similarities to YF-23, X-32 and F-35 with some unique design features.

I guess It ain't real nibba
The backdrop kinda gives it away
It's just superior quality of animation

More then the AMCA which will never materialize.
Iaf won't buy any fgfa from outsider for the time being be it single engine junk or twin one instead more rafale will be added. They had withdrew from fgfa program due to issues with engine and stealth technology. Then they move on with amca. And only the time will tell about amca.

Looks nice but the intake looks very strange, out of place compared to the rest of the aircraft. The fuselage is curved and sleek while the intake is boxy.

I spot a radiation sticker on the random indicating a radar, I also spot some antennas on the side of the fuselage indicators this could be a flyable prototype. Also strange is the glow strips, modern aircraft use those for night formation flying in order to spot one another, it’s specially useful for combat missions where it’s too risky to have your strobes on.

I’m not sure why they would have this on a mock up or static model. Even radars are placed on latter prototypes once most of the aerodynamics are worked out.

This aircraft has a foreign customer already. More precise it was probably built specifically for a foreign customer. We don’t know which country.

C-could it be India?:pound:

The Russian Federation has a initial customer for the new "Checkmate" light fighter, which was presented to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said. Interfax writes about it.
“We already have it, we are doing it for him,” Borisov said at the MAKS-2021 air show. He explained that we are talking about a foreign air force.
In addition, the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov, said that the Russian Defense Ministry would also be the customer of the new fighter.
“Yes, of course,” he said, answering the relevant question.
He stressed that this is an initiative development of Rostec, but the state corporation envisages deliveries not only to foreign, but also to the Russian military.

If Russian media is to be believed, Russia has already sold 3 dozen submarines to India in last dozen years.
Every equipment from Russian stable eligible for export is aimed at India. So no surprises there.

A summary from the video with Putin:

Range and payload are impressive, so much for some people in this thread claiming it will have terrible range.

Its payload capacity seems lower than Tejas Mk2, will be ready in 6 years almost the same as mk2 for sp. Also, kek nobody seriously believes that it will go for 30 million USD seriously?

Also, 'possible orders' 300? Really?
I hope they are not counting on India because India will almost buy another 36 Rafales that's it. Rest will be MWF and later AMCA, I hope so at least.

But maybe many middle eastern countries will be interested in it. Also, isn't Su57 is also suffering from budget issues that's why they have only made handful of those isn't it? So maybe Russia can use them too if they are looking at cost factor.
