Balaghat and nearby areas were always Naxal hotbed, as far as I remember.
Naxal violence was less close to Kanha and core forest areas.

More pronounced towards south of the state bordering Dongargarh, Gondia, Chattisgarh, Maha border areas.

Lately, naxals have moved into core areas of Kanha and surrounding buffer zone but Maha HM keeping mum. There have been multiple incidents in the last 2-3 years including murders of forest personnel by naxals.

Security of Central India is critical and under no circumstances should it be allowed to become a maoist no-go zone.

At this Point more Roads cutting through the forest and Timber farms would do winder for the Naxal affected zones.
Organic mushroom, honey lots of potential here and this has to be selectively offered to the locals or else there will be dissent.

They are against Govt. presence of any kind so any road construction activity is met by violent resistance.

Abduction of BDO, contractors, extortion, destruction of machinery, random killings etc.

It will take time but they will eventually see sense. They don't want the forests to give way to mining and towns which kill the quiet life. Plus extortion is easy money and they manage to hold sway over villagers and instill fear among govt servants.

907 sympathisers including 467 active militias have surrendered before Odisha police and Border Security Force few days back . 2,577 sympathisers of outlawed CPI (Maoist) return to mainstream during past six months . Impact of infrastructure and development in that area , along with outreach by security forces .

Two police personnel were killed when armed Naxalites ambushed them near a mobile check-post in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon district bordering Maharashtra on Monday morning, police said.

The Naxalites carrying sophisticated weapons, including AK-47 rifles, targeted the two unarmed cops when they had just reported for duty at the mobile check-post on the inter-state border, an area that has witnessed a Maoist attack after a long time, they said.

Use drone bombs what ukraine is doing against Russia....Fucking Chutiya IPS officers are not bothered for lives of our soldiers.

This Chutiya IPS officers 1st posting should be in naxal hit areas and cumpilsorily on field..
Their first posting is generally as a asp in a district.
Now what you want to convey that their first posting should be a naxal area? , you want them to live with them naxalites?
Those who are battle them from state Police are IPS officers only .
