Broadsword clearly mentions the 2nd pulse drives it to Mach 5-7.Barak 8 has a Top speed of around Mach 4, mentioned in a recent report..Broadsword or Livefist i think, dont remember.
" About five-to-seven kilometres short of the target, a seeker on the interceptor’s nose switched on, locking it onto the target. To accelerate the interceptor, which was by now merely coasting, the dual-pulse motor fired for a second time. This increased the interceptor’s velocity up to Mach 5-7, enabling it to manoeuvre sharply in tandem with the target’s evasive zigzags. "

Barak-8Btw, can you give a source for the mentioned g loading of these SAMs?
" Lateral acceleration is 80 G, length is 4,550mm, diameter is 225mm & weight is 276kg "

Check Page 4 of the .pdf, it's in Greek, but fairly easy to make it out; copy paste into a translator if you want. Also check left column on Page 5 for an additional mention
SpyDer-SR
" SR-SAMs like the SpyDer-SR, by comparison, can sustain combined G-loads of 76 G "

The info about THAAD is a forum "leaked" info, I cannot produce a viable source for such info. It's unlikely we will ever know for sure about that one.
