Not really. There is very valid reason to cut numbers. Whats the use of lakhs of skinny soldiers with sh!t equipment. Strength can be increased in the future when our average soldier has good equipment

the anwer is not to decrease numbers, answer is to increase budget.

Also, all the troops Ive seen look sufficiently strong, no idea what you mean by "skinny". They arent bodybuilders out to look cool, they're there to fight. Too bulky is a problem too.
