Lol I heard a story from my relation where a Madras regiment soldier in j&k was taken hostage by 11 terrorist they pinned ak at his head and asked about others he told they have gone and they left him alive just coz he wasn't an officer but they took his LMG later all 11 were killed

Really wish IA infantry entirely does away with bright colours on epaulettes etc. for field uniforms. Madras Regmt for example has bright red:

Gloves are becoming increasingly more common in the infantry.
And Sig 716 like platform will be best for Standardization, it's not like your average AK platforms that require tweaking for mountings accessories.
