For a change I want sfdr missile instead of bhramos
A1, A2, Nirbhay or another interceptor?
..............................................................................................................
Range 2000 km means A1 , Nirbhay and Interceptor can be ruled out .A1, A2, Nirbhay or another interceptor?
Upto 2,000kms may not mean a bit less area? I thought they give some more clearance for safety.Range 2000 km means A1 , Nirbhay and Interceptor can be ruled out .
Agni 1 is 700 kms. Why 2000 kms notam ? It looks more likely to be nirbhay with new manik engine. They will probably test it's maximum range in ideal conditions and check engine parameters.Range 2000 km means A1 , Nirbhay and Interceptor can be ruled out .
It's Agni 5....user tral I suppose...NOTAM for last test of A5 was issued only for 2000km. Possibility of A5 test cannot be ruled out.
There is always area given for safety clearence . But A1 with 750 km range will not require 2000km warning area .Upto 2,000kms may not mean a bit less area? I thought they give some more clearance for safety.
Shape of notam area doesnot match with earlier nirbhay tests .... This one looks more like a BM test .Agni 1 is 700 kms. Why 2000 kms notam ? It looks more likely to be nirbhay with new manik engine. They will probably test it's maximum range in ideal conditions and check engine parameters.
For AD1/2, I think we would have to wait for the upcoming test range at Nicobar and the floating test range. When are they going to test the Pralay and the AD-1 /2.
I have waited patiently for the AD series tests but nothing so far.
That would be an intercept test. For AD1/2, I think we would have to wait for the upcoming test range at Nicobar and the floating test range.
As of now we could see some more tests of AAD to validate the seeker tech and flight control.
That's why I mentioned this second part. That would be an intercept test.
Before that the missile needs to be tested to validate aerodynamics airframe strength and guidance. Once the soundness of the design has been proved, then intercept tests can commence.
You do not have a brand new unproven missile intercept a target ballistic missile in its first test flight.
As of now we could see some more tests of AAD to validate the seeker tech and flight control.
It will remains to be seen, how much further it went to be even considered for ASAT test.................. We have all the building block for the tech, we need to test it, ASAP.
Besides guidance and seeker tech you need to validate the structural strength and the aerodynamics of the missile. So we need to test the AD-1 / 2 missile itself. That's why I mentioned this second part.
