Russians have updated Syrian MiG-29 (9-12) to MiG-29S (9-18) standard.
Now they can carry and fire R-77 (RVV-AE, Item 170) missiles and KAB-500S/KR guided bombs.
The article says that they are updated to SMT/UPG standard (9-19), but photo says no.

Mig tried to improve Mig 35 a lot to get it qualified in MMRCA. This is a great plane and Russian must work on its engines to improve power to higher fuel efficiency. If 500 Kg weight is slashed further than this can be a a super plane. Russia must put the EW they used in Su 35 on this platform to make it super Plane.
