Let’s shun Saarc meet in Pakistan, Afghanistan tells India

Let's shun Saarc meet in Pak: Afghanistan to India
NEW DELHI: India found support from Afghanistan in its diplomatic offensive against Pakistan on Tuesday. Afghan envoy to India Shaida Mohammad Abdali said that countries in the region should come together to boycott the Saarc summit in Islamabad over the host nation's role in "destabilising" the neighbourhood.
In an interview to NDTV, Abdali said the terrorism being unleashed by Pakistan was lethal and systematic as also state-sponsored and called on neighbouring countries to unite to end the violence. Asked if India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh should join hands to boycott the Saarc summit in November, he said there should be a comprehensive effort to stamp out terror.
We have to make sure that we bring the maximum number of countries and I am sure most of the countries in South Asia are in line with what Afghanistan and India think," Abdali said. He said the country spoiling regional stability should be singled out.
"Definitely, we should single a country that spoils our unity and spoils regional stability and peace and that stops integration and connectivity," he said. "There must be zero tolerance (towards terrorism). This is state-sponsored terrorism. It is no more an issue of non-state actors.. Now, there is ample proof of this as state-sponsored terrorism and, therefore, we have to revisit our mechanisms. We have a global war on terror that must be revisited," Abdali said.

@sorcerer Though we know that there's some turnover in Diplomacy but we are yet to play it avoiding in pressure.
Though a small country taking our back knows better to take strong decisions.

Aye aye!!
pressure building is a slow kinda process....The key is in keeping the momentum going for long till certain realities are getting achieved on the ground.

Waiting for the sequel SARC-X !

Why not kick pakistan out of SAARC? That will truly be an isolate pakistan move. 8 members where 1 is a pig and 6 on our side. If we are the ones to boycott SAARC then it would seem as if we are isolating ourselfs and not pakistan.

Shun SAARC altogether. Send this org to dung heap and make a new one sans Pak.

Well, I have been tracking and even posting updates over about how India is staging BBIN (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal) up with infrastructure and more trade strategies.
For lastest, there's a direct roadway under construction to cut down the transport costs and increasing business by 60%.
Plus All the four are doing very well economically so can make SAARC insignificant.
I will post a thread too at right time.;)

Maldives, Nepal and Bangladesh remain neutral.

Sri Lanka supports Pakistan.

Bhutan and Afghanistan support us.

I don't know what support are you talking about.

We need Nepal's and Sri Lanka's support on this and so far, none of the Indian administrations have succeeded in reducing Pakistan-Sri Lanka ties.

Add the fact that Pakistan helped SL get rid of LTTE more than we did. So much so that Sri Lanka to date acknowledges Pakistan and China more than us.

We aren't playing our cards well because we aren't improving ourselves. Unless we are a stronger economy, a more rational government (not just about rights, public doleouts and self-righteous political correctness) and a powerful self-reliant military, no one in Indian subcontinent will fully support us.

China can offer more to all nationalities around us barring Bhutan which has a bigger bone to pick with China than we do.

That's the plain bitter truth.

We've already done that due to endless Paki shenanigans.

And that is a new grouping known as BIMSTEC. The Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation which is an international organisation involving a group of countries in South Asia and South East Asia.

These are: Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bhutan and Nepal.

Porkistan has been cold-shouldered and asked to stay the fuk away!

Welcome back @CrYsIs.
Congratulations for using correct flags this time. And more appreciation for not changichanging your avatar to let me recognize you.

Even if you have a little knowledge of international politics,
For Bangladesh, they support Baluchistan, neutral only for their interests, for Nepal, they will prefer India over Pakistan in a case of India vs pak given Indian aid, assistance and investments in pak.

But, other countries wouldn't take part in either of the newly created group, unless until the main member of the grouping PAKISTAN we are missing, especially mate these countries which I have checkmated here.
:biggrin2:
The name and organisation revolves around bay of bengal, it has nothing to do with SAARC, it is for trade and cooperation in that sea.

As for you declaring Pakistan as Main Member, having Nuclear Bombs doesn't make you a main member in a cooperation or international organisation, tell me how much of aid do you give to any South Asian nation, how much your trade relation with SAARC nation is worth of ?, Bangladesh is nearing you in terms of GDP with nearly 230 billion USD nominally and 950 billion USD (PPP). In comparison to India your trade with SAARC nations is nothing. Bangladesh is growing with a rate of 6% per year it will overtake you pretty soon.:clap2::clap2:

Jao pehle apne ghar ke haalat sahi karlo phir Super Power bhi ban lena... As for Nepal and Bangladesh standing with you, never will happen. Just dream of having a love afair with china, with the later inserting its dick in your state mouth (Gilgit Baltistan) running all through the state body (entire length of pakistan) and finally coming out of not only the state butt-hole (Gwadar) but making other state-holes too permanently making Pakistan a subsidiary (randi) of PRC.:basanti: :pound::pound::hippo::hehe:

  1. Pakistan is not a member of BIMSTEC. So, you duffer can buffer yourself from your false statements.
  2. What Pakistan has done for these countries so far. I don't see Pakistan donating $1.6 billions annually, giving subsidies and soft loans. Even if they have ever supported pakistan, that's for avenge India for violation of their interests and history tells us India reminded them thier aukat by discontinuing the aid and assistance given to them.:biggrin2:

I think, we have morally and economically has ties with different members, by through helping them on different occasions, we are jointly working with all members on equally all perspective mate. Future of South Asia, on what matters to them. It will also set the foundation of strong inter-parliamentary linkages between parliamentarians from across South Asia to setup a network that can develop into a continued platform, nurture regional interaction, support democratic norms and build a coalition for sustained dialogue and peaceful cooperation. Pakistan With it's all sub-themes such as peace and development, human rights, sustainable development, regional trade, cultural diplomacy, youth issues and social inclusion, all are mutually joint and discussed. So, please let it be call a kinda a joint discussion for benefit of all members having present in group there. What you say? :biggrin2:
I will say you compare their relations and corporation with India against pak.
Relations with pakistan are mild, completely insignificant.
Plus, Indian perspective is far beyond South Asia, at the global level,
And again, you have a false statement that:
All are mutually joined.
Be it geographically, economically and even for security to some extent directly.
But you can't see any mutual dependency each other.
For example, Myanmar is dependent on India but not Nepal or Pakistan, Nepal and Pakistan are dependent on India for trade, water, infrastructure(for Nepal) and for industrial corporation but not on each other.
For the latest, India is going to invest $25 billions in Bangladesh and making a direct highway through Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh to connect from India. Afghanistan, Iran and much more list up.

India has 75% of South Asian economy and helps neighbors a lot.
If India is swallowed up today, entire SA will fall to the level of Eastern Africa.

And that's only from subcontinent, India has similar presence in Kazakhstan, Crimea, South East Asia (ASEAN Nations), Africa and many more.
India annually donates $1.6 billions.
You can go to related threads and Indian Infrastructure projects as I can't feed you up everything here.
