1. Data link - IAF uses their own data link,ODL . Data link is a communication technique & SDR is a communication device, its like 5g nd iphone
2.No, under development
3.We can make them for LCA mk2. Not good against IIR/EO missiles. Indian Rafale, EFT, SH having towed decoy

I think it's about safely flying with After burner. So certification of AB rather than dry engine.

No.

You have to certify the engine for flight worthiness. The engine needs to be certified for integration with an airframe.

Currently no Fighter jet having main Radar with jamming capability, In future F35 FCR get EW capability

The first technology demonstrator of what would later be called the Typhoon first flew in 1986. The definitive version with an AESA radar is still not in service today, 30 years down the line. The Tranche-2 version, which can drop precision bombs and fire BVR missiles, wasn’t available until 2008.

...And that why they have a deemed-successful 1st rate international fighter that is counted amongst the world topmost & we've only just receiving serious orders for Tejas. Hell even Jf-17 has had a similar developmental timeline as those.

I am more worried about US putting some tracking or worst shut off devices, this is something India needs to handle if we are dependent on Jet Engines …
