Shiv Aroor must have talked to Knowlegable people

The more Important thing is that the MK1A has impressed the IAF
They don't have any other option it's pushed down their throat.

They are literally flying Jags and mig 21 in 2023

And there will be gap in mk2 production can't keep the line idle.

This must be after effect of that General Electrics deal for starting joint production of F414 engines here, else without sourcing engines of all IAF would think infinite times before going orders way

let's see if we also bring F404 line here or better upgrade all Mk1A with F414 in future (yeah i know dimensions and limitations and what not but still considering possibility)

Both engines have identical length and diameter.

That deal was going to happen anyway..been pending since a decade.

It's simply the effect of delay in mk2 timeline which is clearly visible now.

The current order may be completed early in that case IAF will have to order more.

At the same time they have nothing new coming in for next 5 years and 5-6 Squadrons will be retiring .

Earlier there were plans to simply use the F414 engine timeline was 2014 then 2018-19 around but after study it was dropped and instead a more refined mk2 version was considered to be paired up with F414.

More thrust means more fuel requirement.. and it is already shortlegged. Let's see.

In short we already have studied and worked out the solution. It's just it takes time and we are a bit slow.

No, Argentina is almost wholly white. It's so white that it's famous for being Nazi haven post WW2 and many SS Waffen officers fled there. There's actual Nazis in Argentina.

Like, actual. Not the cosplayers from USA.
Also good experience in anti-ship warfare. They were able to get close to the Br*tfags and shoot missiles. Unfortunately many did not explode.

Only Nation in West which kicked out all the non-White race from their country right under the nose of progressive West!
They became almost homogenous and purely white.

Sorry bombs, not missiles. Many did not explode. And if they had. The course of the war might have changed. Br*tfags would be shown their place. Sedlyf.
Brits still had much heavier punch. They had experience of 2 WW and better Navy in general. Argentines still gave them good fight initially.

Kisika bhi nahi.
MMRCA deal don't consume any lca order but if mmrca/mrfa gets canceled, then iaf only option is lca mk2. Iaf need minimum 12 sqn of lca[both mk1 & mk2] and can goes upto 20 sqn. My guess- around 2025/26/27 [when mk2 starts flying] iaf order another batch of mk1a/b and nos depends on hal production efficiency ie in between 40 to 75 aircraft.

A lot of this hot news if members here look closely enough.

The additional offers for mk1a are supposed to come post 2025 once the current orders are done so that's a big if.

Similarly mmrca is such a long saga that I'll hold my horses until it's done.

Tedbf and mk2 need to roll out before 2030 first before we start to take this new seriously.
