i have heard that there is problem with the computer of tejas it is failing again and again, they will replace these computer with new one (which will be installed in tejas mk2)

this current computer is pretty old.

any news on that??

Most planes uses military spec processors made in mid 90s only. F-22 uses even older design.
Or is it some other hardware is lagging behind these computers?

Malaysia, Srilanka, Bangladesh are my guesses.

And Argentina I'm being extremely optimistic.


Anyway have we offered it to Vietnam?

Their airforce uses only flankers and some old su-22s.

They may look for a light aircraft complement as their economy grows and if their neighborhood turns hot.

Mostly khayali pulao of some strategist. HAL has never said a word about the Argentine deal officially nor is there any alternative to the British components that are tested out on Tejas. Meeting with Ambassadors and retweets by HAL and HVT sir could be other things- LUH or LCH.

Malaysia for sure, Argentina (at least its thought so after the Arg Mod reunion with the Indian Ambassador recently)....and...no idea who could be the third, im guessing Sri Lanka, but they recently spend quite some amount of money on the Upgrade of their Kfirs, so im guessing they are not looking to buy planes...right ?
