Is it used to control the flaps of Wing's and Tail ?

I don't think so .....it is controled by HOTAS, an acronym of hands on throttle-and-stick ..... which is situated in the middle .

Controls in those paddles is not a good idea because during extreme manoeuvres it would be difficult to control the aircraft with those paddles .....I think those paddles are just for foot rest .

Both of these Elta jamming systems SkyShield & ELL-8251 are operated by Indian Air Force... and both are big centreline placement pods.
For fucks sake, slap one on of those thing's on that mpty pylon, we can't have FOC Tejas flying around vanilla!..

You couldn't open the link & see the dates?..
Anyway Uttam won't be fully operational until another 2-3 years. This was their backup.

But I shared the links to reference the jammer use.

Can we make a growler type ew fighter, can tejas be converted for this role? I mean it is small, difficult to detect almost from all fighters we have as many people claim here

Better use a higher payload aircraft for that. But more importantly our IOC/FOC standard operational Tejas need a self-protection jammer at least from surface threats. Other than chaff&flare, they're mostly vanilla right now. Too vulnerable with high bomb load.

The central hardpoints of Tejas kept empty in most cases. If either of the above jammers is carried there...

...then we could make good use of use Tejas’s superior A2G strike capabilities.

I saw it in Lucknow exhibition
If you had taken photos there, do upload everything on the Defexpo 2020 thread.

Bro discussed many times only the outermost pylon will be used with spj pod...
Though jf17 uses spj pod under intake
... again a ccm ....or an ejector missile like mica can be used there

Yeah, I know. But that's the ELL-8212/ELL-8222 self-protection jammer pod.
However, these two Rafael SkyShield & ELTA-ELL-8251 are both much larger ones, meant to be carried at centerline hardpoint... mostly effective against ground threats or aircrafts at lower altitudes (removes the need for fuel inefficient terrain hugging flight).

Watch the two videos i shared, you'll see what i mean. Anna spot the two news links we have both of those in inventory, but used on inferior air to ground attack aircrafts like Su-30 & Jaguar!.. Tejas can do better.

Actually can you ask HVT's opinion on this?

Hal Ada will do ...if iaf asks to do that......
Better if a heavy fighter like su30 with this pod will escort lca...will be better..

Bdw 50+ spj pods are bought for mig21 bison ...but we rarely see spj pod with mig21 bis
