The only physical Difference between IOC and FOC standard is external refueling probe and for that too internal plumbing is complete, only the probe which is plug and play which can be fitted with little efforts and flight testing is all that is required.

It was confirmed that IOC versions don't have the refueling plumbing & can't be given that either... Unfortunate, but other than that, just a matter of hours indeed.

IOC aircrafts can be added with refueling probe but the Iafs base repair depo can't do it. It has to be done by Hal and that would require money

Quite a bit of money apparently... Either HVT or Indranil said internal crap needs to be shifted to fit the plumbing for aerial-refueling.

That would be a deep upgrade similar to MLU of Mig-29 to UPG standard.

No. IOC Tejas Mk1 do have internal plumbing for external refueling probe. From what more new information which is coming all the IOC Tejas Mk1 are being upgraded to FOC standard with gun capabilities. These are being prioritised over newer planes. So we will have FOC standard squadron of LCA during the war now. If needed even a few LSPs can be upgraded to fully combat capable plane in a few days if required....

"...it could require remapped fuel plumping and many changes to the internally hardware of the aircraft which IAF has decided to avoid at this stage and might be done at a later stage by HAL in separate contract work order."

From what more new information which is coming all the IOC Tejas Mk1 are being upgraded to FOC standard with gun capabilities.

Where did you get that?.. No news on gun aerial-firing being done on the FOCs yet. Slapping a gun is easy but it needs to be operationalised 1st.

IoC lca can get ifr but it will need fitting at Hal and take some time.
But it was anyway planned all ioc will get foc standard and later all foc will reach mk1a standard during mlu.

Import Lobby is too powerful as stated by Rohit Banerjee sir, I believe now Indian Airforce will induct the Tejas Aircraft, since there is a ban on import equipment. Ever since Manohar Parrikar left MOD, MOD has gone back to its older days.

HAL Tejas has to be inducted in large numbers, I hope HAL Tejas replaces Mig-21, Mig-27 and Jaguar Squadrons, we can improve Tejas according to its dedicated roles, For example US Air force uses F-16CJ model of F-16 to suppress SAM, we can also do the same.

भाई जेट इंजन को इसे बिना टेस्ट करे इस्तमाल नहीं कर सकते. जेट इंजन जो untested है उसे सिंगल इंजन aircraft में इस्तमाल कराने के बड़े रिस्क हैं.

कावेरी इंजन का वजन पहले से काफी क्रम कर लिया गया है और ट्रस्ट भी bahdya गया है.
बट metallurgy मे काम करना है और इसे हेवी temperature लंबे time तक झेल न के लिय और stabilize करना होगा.
तो इसलिए हम इसे अभी तेजस में नहीं use कर सकते
