There are no FOC standard Tejas in service as of this date. So the answer is no.
Why tejas can...fire r73..........and if paki jets fly in west southern area(highly unlike)
Then tejas will do the same...what bison did with f16. ...

Tejas can't be deployed in forward bases.....iaf says only mk1a..will be deployed in forward bases......
But i feel in ioc version tejas can do the interceptor role......and ground attacks too

SoP is to send only FOC standard fighter to war.

New drop tanks,

Hv lower drag penalty,

Higher fuel content.

So if you fully read the Indranil Roy, Nilesh Rane article on Delhi Defence Review,

You can know that combat radius increases with these changes.

PIB will release FOC specs soon.

My guess is with all three drop tanks, & improvement cited in the articles,

Tejas combat radius should be above 500 KM.
What about Weight reduction? To get maximum out of this plane, Weight reduction is a key. Vivek Ahuja's Simulation study saw that any wright reduction of Tejas from this stage will result in significant improvement in performance. Landing gear weight should also go down. Canopy reshaping will allow 60 kg more fuel to be incorporated in fuel tank. We must work on this plane to exploit its full potential like what Americans does with F18.

We will need to invent alien metals or composites for weight reduction. It is not possible to reduce weight in current technology

Yep lca cant fight a war In current situation it's important to have foc specs to ensure its survivability , weapon capability not alone can count for frontier operation

Had we LCA Mk2 with SFDR missile with us, it would have been a different ball game. We could have hit porkis much harder. As we show, MKIs are not very useful in this sort of Air raids. We have to use Mirage 2000 once again. We can use Jaguar but it has the limitations. It need escorts. Had we LCA MK2 with above missile, our operation would have become more easier. It can enter enemy territory much easily with very low possibility of being detected. It can track enemy plane without switching on Radar and shoot it fro a long distance. it will have a much longer range to carry out operations without taking external payload. It can go to enemy territory , conduct a raid, mess with enemy plane and come back safely. It will be a highly cost effective fighter offering varied capability across a large spectrum We should focused hard and get this plane as early as possible.

We have Akash SAM with NEZ of 30km. No need to harp about BVRAAM. Also, Su30 is an ace fighter for all roles. Mirage is a baby in front of Su30

It's more real than any Kaveri is at the moment.
Best way to go for Kaveri is to go with Euro Jet. EJ 230 is supposed to have 72 kn dry and 108 KN wet with TVC which is an ideal contender for AMCA and Tejas Mk2. It matches the specifications of Proposed K10. just Invest few hundred million USD . Just go ahead with Euro jet and make it happen.

Like? You want to fire at PAF plane when they are flying in Pakistani airspace without declaring war? Are you out of your mind?
Read my post. Whenever we conduct air raid, there will always be a possibility that they may come to intercept our planes. In these cases, retaliation becomes very much necessary. What will you do if they attack your plane in their territory?

Yes, India could have used SAM to kick them out and deny airspace. There may be a grander strategy of allowing Pakistan to attack deserted military posts and thus creating onus on them for escalation. There is no reason to simply assume that India was outsmarted.
