It seems it was exported, in LAAD 2019 it was announced it was cancelled because Mectron has disappeared, does not longer exist and a new company has taken over it, SIATT is the heir, so the contract with Mectron has no any more legal basis since them company does not exist any more, a new company SIAAT now has the design bureau and the head engineer and most technical staff has been passed to SIATT, Mectron no longer exists.

The Brazilian MAR-1 had some technologies that needed to be developed in Brazil because the USA did not want to approve the sale and transfer of the inertial guidance system.

So, killed in parts by Americans and employees of the company, as employees are now working in different company so no takers for the previous company product.

I will be honest, the Mar-1 did develop the technology independently from the USA, Brazil needed some american tech, but the USA vetoed that technology, however it was designed in Brazil.

Mectron does not exist any more as a company, but the designers and products passed to Siatt, a new company, the new missile is the Mansup.

If you watch the video CARLOS ALBERTO DE PAIVA CARVALHO, Founder of MECTRON/SIATT - and head designer of MANSUP, MAR-1, He said the deliveries to Pakistan were cancelled, that the missile still represents an important project for SIATT and Brasil but he says it is suspended, but they want to bring it back but still it is cancelled, but the new main project is Mansup

CICARE CH-1

It is the first helicopter designed and built by Augusto U. Cicaré; it is a single-seat, single-engine, with coaxial counter-rotating rotors with two blades each. The cyclic command acts on the tilt of the structure that upholds the rotors. The frame of the aircraft is built on steel tubing. The four strokes, four opposed cylinders engine was also designed by Augusto Cicaré.

First flight:1961

See Technical Data
CICARE CH-2

It is a two-seat conventional helicopter. The frame and the tail boom are made of steel tubes. The main transmission has a belts stage and also a 90º gear stage; the driving to the tail rotor is made through a cardan joint. The main rotor has three blades and the commands are hydraulically controlled.

First flight: 1964

-The "Trebol" engine of the TNCA (FMA-Mex.) Of the year 1916, is also based on the Anzani with three radial cylinders, in inverted "Y". Although it more closely resembles Szekely's SR-3 model with the "time paradox" that Szekely appeared in 1928.

Another engine was the "SS México". Here the author of the blog has a doubt, since according to his files the "SS México" was a company founded in Mexico by the Hispano-Suiza de Barcelona, in 1916 (in fact a branch) probably arisen from the manufacturing agreement under license V8 engines and to introduce their engines in that country.

a photo of "Tohtli" (old Mexican aeronautical magazine) that came to us via Oscar Fr. Alvarado. It is a 5-cylinder radial designed by the Sea engineer and built in the TNCA workshops.

The TAPP project ended in 2012 with the delivery of two prototypes of the TAPP engine and the operational turbo-reactor test bench. In 2013, the hot tests of the TAPP engine were started within the activities of the Defense Propulsion System (SPD) project, a project also supported by Finep, as part of the engine development phase.

The modifications made to the engine for its improvement suggested that this modified engine be renamed with the name TR-5000, an acronym for the project approved by FINEP in 2013, called the 5,000 N Turboreactor.

The TR-5000 project currently runs in parallel with the SPD project, with complementary objectives: engine development and the installation of new gas turbine component test benches.

The TR-5000 already incorporates some modifications of the previous prototype to improve the vibration behavior, engine start, combustion, among others. “But the engine remains within the 5,000N thrust range,” stresses Carneiro. In the hot tests, with fuel burning, its performance, vibration level, component behavior, among others, were verified.

In addition to allowing the development of the TR-5000 engine to continue, the SPD intends to expand the gas turbine testing infrastructure, focusing on the installation of a compressor test bench and equipment to carry out over-speed tests on the rotating assembly .

The implementation of the compressor and overspeed test bench will assist in the development of the TR-5000 engine compressor. “At the time when we designed the compressor, the ideal would be to have benches of this nature, but unfortunately we only now have the necessary resources,” says Carneiro. To compensate for the lack of resources, “semi-empirical” theoretical models were used, as he says, in the design of the components and computational simulation.

TESTIMONY OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICS (ITA)
TURBINE TR3500 - A SUCCESS STORY
The year 2008 goes down in the history of ITA as a milestone in the technological domain in the development and manufacture of aeronautical turbines for use in aircraft of 1000kg or more
10/17/2008 5:29 PM - It is in the Combustion Laboratory of the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) that the prototype of the first aeronautical engine manufactured in Brazil is installed. As a result of a successful project, today it is possible to demonstrate the technological capacity achieved by those who contributed throughout the process of engine development, a fact sealed with the visit of President Lula, on September 27, 2008.
To better understand where this idea came from, which gained supporters and turned into a relevant project for the aeronautical sector, the Italian Homero Santiago Maciel (Class 76, Electronic Engineering) - ITA professor and coordinator of the “Turbina TR3500” Project - reports this story.

The Director of the Research and Development Center of
Projects (CIDEP), Colonel FAP Miguel Palomino Fonseca,
He proudly tells us that it is precisely in the facilities of the center he presides over that the UAV (initials that identify the English words Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) RICUK
and AMARU, which are available for
employment in operations and recognition with utility in natural disasters in different regions of the country.

Thus, the main characteristic of the AMARU is its autonomy. It flies and lands alone. The range it has is 50 km and rises up to a ceiling of 1,000 meters. Fly up to five
hours and is equipped with sensors to take pictures
with infrared cameras, so it performs surveillance, recognition and intelligence tasks. The aircraft measures 5.17 meters and has a parachute kit that minimizes possible damage and loss of the sensors, which is the most expensive of its structure

Another modification of the Bell LongRanger was proposed in Chile by Dr. Carlos Cardoen Cornejo of lndustrias Cardoen. This aircraft was a multi-role attack helicopter based on the LongRanger III. On the prototype, which was the first helicopter to be built in Chile, the classic two-pilot cabin has been replaced by a single-seat flat-plate canopy nose section, and armament is carried under fuselage hardpoints. This prototype flew in mid-1989 and had logged 100 flying hours before being flown to Fort Worth to undergo FAA certification.

We are pleased to inform you that the construction of the first 100% light aircraft designed and built by a fumigation pilot and engineer in the city of Santiago de Cali -Colombia, to the pride of our country, was completed. The VENTO 2G7 was born out of the felt need for reliable fumigation equipment, in addition to other uses such as instruction, entertainment, surveillance, and aerial photography.

I mean

After 14 completely new designs, 10 years of very hard work and 4 years of study in aerodynamics books, this prototype was achieved, which from the comfort of the pilot and co-pilot with ergonomic chairs arranged in tandem to achieve greater performance, the systems command, motion systems, wing profile selection, stabilizer profile and

rudder, visibility like none, the fiberglass fuselage with a chrome molybdenum cage, the appropriation of technologies in hypersustation systems, such as slotted flaps to achieve low speeds, the cleaning of the fuselage that being tandem with such only 65

centimeters thick and constructed of composite materials provides excellent aerodynamics and less weight to the aircraft, the countersink of the rivets to achieve good performance at high speeds, until the implementation of the robertson stoll at the end of the wings to replace the twist and minimize the loss of lift at low speeds. https://aerofas.wixsite.com/aerofas/desarrollos

Navigator X2 - Colombian civil multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle developed in 2013 year.

The Navigator X2 multipurpose drone was developed by Colombian engineers from the National Aerospace University of Bogota, while, despite its wide functionality, this drone was able to find its application exclusively in the civilian sphere - due to the fact that relatively small effective range, which cannot exceed 30 kilometers.

The Navigator X2 unmanned aircraft became the first drone developed by specialists from Colombia, while the new device proved to be very effective. In particular, as of the beginning of the 2016 year, the Navigator X2 is used to carry out operations related to aerial photography, exploration operations, geological exploration, and, among other things, this aircraft can also be used as a meteorological device, Which became possible due to the use of modern devices for monitoring temperature, pressure, humidity and other parameters. In addition to these main goals of its destination, the Navigator X2 unmanned aircraft is also used to control the fire-hazardous situation in the country.

Multipurpose Navigator X2 drone is equipped with three types of cameras for surveillance. In particular, we are talking about electro-optical camera, an infrared camera and a television camera, a set of works which allows to receive and process virtually any information.

UAV Navigator X2 equipped with one rotary engine capable of imparting an air speed means 85 km \ h .. at the same time, the maximum range of flight of the UAV is about 120 km, however, the management of a single point, the maximum effective range of drone action is only 30 kilometers.

ENAER ECH-02 Ñamcu

By the late 1980s, the aviation industry had stopped building light aircraft. As a challenge assigned in the Chilean company to the Research and Development Department, in June 1986. It was decided to initiate a design that would cover the niche of light and low-cost training aircraft, in addition to experimenting with computer-aided design (CAD ) and construction with composite materials such as fiberglass and carbon fiber.

The Kuntur Project ("Condor" in Quechua) is a development carried out by the Maintenance Service (SEMAN Peru) in agreement with the US company Bede Corporation, which would be used as a basic trainer both in the Peruvian Air Force and for the civil use.

The Peruvian Air Force (FAP) presented the Kuntur at the II SITDEF that was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Lima, which was attended by MILITARY POWER (see note).

This project was carried out thanks to a license agreement with BedeCorp, which stipulates that the basic assembly will be carried out in Peru, and the avionics together with the engine will be manufactured in the United States. Series production would begin in the third quarter of 2009, expecting to assemble up to 200 units a year.

It should be noted that the Kuntur is based on the BD-4 airplane, which in the United States is sold as a kit to assemble (with plans and instructions) as a "Do it yourself". The plane offered by SEMAN Peru would be sold fully assembled.
