Supporting the initiative to create the "Venezuelan Airplane", the Avlat Group continues with the activities related to materialize this project in the national territory and thus manufacture these aircraft with Venezuelan talent.

This is how the Avlat Group made the presentation of its project before the authorities of the National University of the Armed Forces (UNEFA), in the framework of the celebration of the fifth university council of 2014 in order to create a cooperation agreement and strategic alliance between UNEFA and the Avlat Group to give the green light at the beginning of the manufacture of the Avlat Plane with the talent of students and professionals graduated from this house of studies in the Aeronautical Engineering career.

Mr. Rodrigo Vergara, Director of the Avlat Group, reported the successful outcome of this meeting with the following UNEFA authorities: G / J Jesús González (Rector), G / D Viviam Durán (Administrative Vice Chancellor) and Dr. Martha Díaz (Dean of the UNEFA Nucleus of the Anzoátegui State), where the most important point was the visit of the Avlat Group and UNEFA to the population of San Mateo in the Anzoátegui State, where the land and facilities are located The installation of the AVLAT Airplane factory is planned.

some Brazilian made missiles the AV-TM300 also know as AVTMC since it is a variant of AV-TM300

The jet engine for the AV-TM300 is powered by a turbine designed in Brazil by polaris

TURBOJET TJ1000
Military engine capable of providing up to 1000 lbf of thrust power. A very good choice for high performance UAVs, Cruise Missiles and air target drones. The large number of possible applications for this engine makes it very attractive and a potential exponent within brazilian aeronautical industries.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

  • Thrust: 1000lbf
  • Specific Consumption: 1.18 kg/kgf/h
  • Weight: 67Kg
  • Lenght: 1080mm
  • Diameter: 350mm

TURBOJET TJ1200
Military application engine capable of providing up to 1200 lbf of thrust power. A very good choice for high performance UAVs, Cruise Missiles and air target drones.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

  • Thrust: 1200lbf
  • Specific Consumption: 1.11 kg/kgf/h
  • Weight: 70Kg
  • Lenght: 1180mm
  • Diameter: 350mm

Turbine TJ200
TJ200 was specially designed to be used in either small cruise missiles or small high performance UAVs. The most important advantage of TJ200 engine is small diameter and a relatively low SFC (Specific Fuel Consumption) when compared to other engines of the same thrust, what makes TJ200 perfect to be used in long range small missiles.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

  • Thrust: 220lbf ISA, SL
  • Specific Consumption: 1.36 kg/kgf/h
  • Weight: 10Kg
  • Lenght: 480mm (without nose)
  • Diameter: 160mm

Good Thread @Mig29SMT . The Mexico, should serve an example to India, proximity to murica does not mean automatic at par technological upliftment. I think given the nature of murica, it would be very interfering and often impediment in any home grown research efforts in areas where Murica feels it need no competition or is just paranoid. India should continue its own R&D and not give up its own efforts for short term cheap imports

It is far more complex for both of our nations.

Mexico is one of the main providers of aircraft parts to both the USA and Europe,

here is one of the manufacturing companies located in Mexico

Workers of Beechcraft Hawker plant in Mexico

workers at the Cessna plant in Mexico

Bombardier Plant Mexico Queretaro state

Textron to Build New Facility in Mexico
The new facility will manufacture various minor assemblies, structural elements and wire bundles for the Bell 429 commercial helicopter.

Compiled Adrienne Selko
SEP 29, 2008

https://www.industryweek.com/the-economy/article/21941301/textron-to-build-new-facility-in-mexico

The reality is we do not own the companies, these companies only give jobs to Mexico and training, we do not invest to put the plants, nor spend money to build the aircraft.

Aernova produces fuselages in Mexico

see link http://www.aernnova.com/en/stories/aernnova-in-mexico/aernnova-mexico-bell-505-2/

has advantages? yes
has disadvantages? yes we at this moment we do not have companies like Embraer, but he have now a considerably advance aircraft manufacturing capability

Class 2 Plus vehicle, whose first prototype is in the process of development and is a version exceeding 14 meters in size, with a maximum take-off weight of the order of 1,000 Kg., A service ceiling exceeding 15,000 feet and more than 17 hours of autonomy.
It will have a multispectral sensor and satellite link, which will allow its operation anywhere in our country from a centralized command post. It also has a capacity (Payload) of up to 150 Kg., To carry other sensors or armament of fixed points under the wings or in an internal bay in its fuselage.
In the month of November last year the construction process of Vigía 2B (a Class III UAV with the possibility of tactical or strategic employment) was resumed and is currently in the fuselage construction phase.

Argentina has designed and made the SARA Drones UAVs
