More and More I believe money should be spent on Engineering, Pure science and Medicine. We can have an tangible outcome which helps the nature.
1. Engineering -- Create manufacturing and other allied industry. (Job creator)
2. Pure Science -- Ensure the country stay ahead in tech and innovation. (Job creator)
3. Medicine -- Ensure the wellfare of people.

Anything other than that is useless piece of shit. FTII -- half of them are anyways going to work on some shitty jobs with no salary. Things they are some intellectuals.

lol..so we dont need lawyers, MBA, cultural experts, CA, language experts, hotel management, singing, dancing, fashion industry, historian, economic expert, army, arts, painter, geogrophic experts etc etc....i think u live ur most time in engineering college. so u dont know, beside ur above mention 3 occupation/field. other sectors r also important for humans. yeah there r some courses that r waste, but saying others r useless piece of shit. that shows ur ignorance. looks like u r that typical engineering student, who dont know beside "u nd ur small world" there r huge world exist.
irony is most engineering student, not doing jobs in their field. but applying banks, ssc, railway, teaching etc jobs.
frankly a uneducated cleaner or farmer, who is cleaning our colony/city or doing agriculture...is as important as u engineers.

It looks comical the things you have mentioned have very low interest in India among students. The numbers of students slacking off in Kota is more than students available in this field colleges. Economic expert-- come on man we have gems like Amartya sen, Raghuram Rajan. What things they have done to this country?
