OIC passing resolutions against us is called "Lip Service"....How can they let go of one of their Largest customers?
It is true Satish, but some times monotonous 'Lip Service' becomes irritating, more over how we can forget Saudis who was patron of Taliban, who worked against us for their another Patron Pakistan's interest in 1999, during IC 814 hijack.

Here is another report from the Economic Times on the same:

Pakistani army pushing guerrillas into Kashmir: Indian Army
25 Apr 2009, 1444 hrs IST, IANS

SRINAGAR: The Indian Army on Saturday accused its Pakistani counterparts of pushing guerrillas into the Kashmir Valley. To back their claim,
Indian Army officials produced a Pakistani national who had infiltrated into the border state a fortnight back.

Saqib Moinullah 25, a resident of North West Frontier Province (NWFP) in Pakistan, said at a press conference here Saturday he had crossed into India through the Gurez sector of the Line of Control (LOC) along with 120 other people, including 31 guerrillas of the Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) outfit. The rest of the group comprised 40 porters and snow beaters and guides.

"I was motivated for joining the jihad (Holy War) as the people told me there was oppression in Kashmir," Moinullah said.

"I was imparted training and sent across to join the other militants of the group here."

However, he said he became disgruntled with the insurgent campaign after crossing into the Valley.

"I went to the house of a civilian and gave him Rs.1,000 to arrange dry fruits etc so that I could cross back into Pakistan.

"The civilian went to the army camp and reported my presence after which I was arrested," he said.

He disclosed that his organisation had no link with the Taliban, which he said was operating in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

"During my training and subsequent crossing into the Valley, I did not come across any Taliban militants here," he said.

Brigadier Gurmeet Singh, Brigadier general staff (BGS) of the army's 15 corps who addressed the media, said the Pakistan army had been facilitating the infiltration of the guerrillas into the Valley.

"Based on intelligence reports, intercepts of conversations and mappings etc, it is clear that the Pakistan army has been aiding and assisting infiltration of terrorists into the Valley," he said.

He that of the 120-strong group that had crossed into the Valley there were 31 guerrillas of whom 30 had been killed in different gun battles with the security forces while Moinullah was arrested alive.

"The rest of the group comprising porters, snow beaters and guides were forced back into the Pakistani side of the LOC," the brigadier said.

He also gave details of the arms and ammunition seized from the slain guerrillas during the operation.

"Thirty AK-47 rifles, 13,000 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, 245 grenades of UBGLs (Under barrel grenade launchers), RPGs (Rocket Propelled grenades), 32 kilograms of explosives, detonators, switches etc were recovered from the slain terrorists," the army officer said.

The arrested Militant says that he did not came across any Taliban in Jammu and Kashmir, and it also supports our Army Chief's assurance,

link:

No traces of Taliban in Kashmir, assures Indian Army chief- Hindustan Times

also , from the report it is clear that there is one militant of the group of 31 still is in this side of border, also the important point to note that out 120 , 31 was militant and the remaining 89 were Porters, Snow beaters, Guides who forced back to return to the other side of the border, now for that reason it is in my opinion that Pak Army provided the logistical support.

Troops lock down I[A]K capital ahead of vote

Thursday, April 30, 2009

SRINAGAR: Indian police and paramilitary forces locked down Indian-[Administered] Kashmir’s capital on Wednesday to prevent anti-election demonstrations after protests flared overnight.

Troops patrolled the deserted streets of Srinagar, the urban hub of a nearly two-decade-old revolt against New Delhi’s rule of the state.

“We’ve imposed restrictions on civilian movement to maintain law and order,” police officer Pervez Ahmed said as policemen raised barricades and stopped residents leaving their homes.

Separatists opposed elections in I[A]K, arguing that the polls legitimised Delhi’s rule of the disputed territory. The clampdown came after 20 people were hurt in anti-election protests in Srinagar, as the region prepared for further voting today (Thursday) in the third of five nationwide general election phases.

Security was tightened in southern Anantnag segment that goes to polls today, with Srinagar voting on May 7.

Hardliner separatist Syed Ali Geelani had called for a two-day strike on Wednesday and Thursday to protest against the elections, which he had denounced as “farcical”. afp

India criticises OIC for statement on Kashmir

India criticises OIC for statement on Kashmir

India on Friday came down heavily on Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) for its statement pledging support to the cause of "freedom struggle" in Kashmir. Stating that the OIC had no business to issue such a statement, the foreign ministry also expressed dismay at the organisation describing the 26/11 terrorist strike in Mumbai merely as an "incident".

"We note with regret that the OIC has chosen to comment on India's internal affairs during the 36th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers held in Syria on May 23-25. The OIC has no locus standi on India's internal affairs," said the MEA.

During the May 23-25 meeting, OIC secretary general Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu had reaffirmed "commitment and support to the Kashmiri freedom struggle". The OIC also stressed the need for resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan to achieve a just and peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue.

"We also note with dismay that in the resolution adopted, the terrorist attack on Mumbai in November 2008 has been referred to as a mere `incident'. It is most unfortunate that the spectre of terrorism confronting the international community, of which the attack on Mumbai by elements from Pakistan was an extreme manifestation, is not being unambiguously addressed by the OIC. We strongly reject such resolutions," said the MEA statement.

A very good and right step taken by the Government of India , to give OIC , what they deserve , I simply believe that time has now to come to show the world what our approach would be when any international organisations that try pitch for our enemies.

Who the hell is OIC?

Umm.. ANYWAYS, whatever they do, they should learn to mind their own damn business. India doesn't need advice from a bunch of weirdos, esp. terrorist supporting freaks of nature. They wanna support the "freedom movement"? Yeah, like Pakistan? Ooooh.. we are scared.

Roll with the punches.......and right hook right to the rib cage.

There's plenty we can express our 'dismay' and 'support' for within the internal affairs of the OIC, including, but not remotely limited to: their treatment - or rather mistreatment- of religious minorities, their treatment of women, their treatment of foreign workers, their crassly inhuman, primitive and uncouth forms of law, the persecution of their own Shia, Ahmaddiya and other Islamic brethren, their support for militant organizations of 'Islamic jurisprudence'- that in turn end up wrecking their own countries, their almost official anti-Semitism - appalling infact for an international organization of that stature, their vicious, protracted, brutal civil wars particularly in the states of North Africa, their exploding populations and pitiful educational reforms [which contribute increasingly to a pool of militant recruitment], their involvement in the drugs trade, their trafficking of the boy child for their abhorrent peadopheliac pleasures- precocious in no less than the de-facto leader of the OIC itself......

There is nothing anyone can do to wrest control of Kashmir from our dominion. It is ours in its entirety - every bit of it, and it is ours legitimately - and the reposession and restoration of its whole to the Republic is only a matter of time. Any 'resolution' on Kashmir will be panned out to our predilection. And the ingrates who feel so strongly otherwise - having eaten, drunk, and breathed out of the bounty of this country - can fog off on down to that little country they call P*ssystan.

Well I am left speechless at the sheer hypocrisy.

I don't want to say anything as it is difficult for me to control my emotions at the sheer audacity of these two faced idiots. Just give them a middle finger and move on.

OIC is nothing but a bunch of losers. Zero + zero + zero still makes zero and that's what all of them are.

Shutdown, clashes continue in India-controlled Kashmir

2009-06-06 22:48:47

SRINAGAR, India-controlled Kashmir, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Protests and clashes continued in Muslim majority areas of India-controlled Kashmir for the sixth consecutive day Saturday, officials and eyewitness said.

Police and paramilitary troopers deployed in Srinagar, the summer capital of the region fired bullets and tear smoke canisters to quell the demonstrations. Over a dozen people were injured in the police action.

Local people have been protesting since Monday seeking identification of the guilty behind the mysterious death of two women in Shopian, 50 kilometers south of Srinagar, last Saturday.

Locals allege the two women, aged 17 and 23, were first raped and then killed. They suspect the involvement of Indian troopers in the incident.

The week-long protests over the incident have left one person dead and at least 400 others injured, according to hospital authorities in the region.

The Chief Minister of the Indian-controlled Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, Monday ordered a judicial probe into the incident.

Police officials maintain the two women died after drowning in a town stream.

Separatists in the region called a general strike on Monday and prolonged it to build pressure on the government to identify the culprits.

Normal life remained disrupted for the sixth consecutive day in response to their strike call. Government offices, banks, commercial units, business establishments and schools remained closed due to shutdown. Traffic also remained off the roads.

30 injured as clashes erupt in Kashmir

STREET BATTLES: Demonstrators and a policeman battle it out
on a Srinagar street on Saturday. The people were protesting against
the mysterious death of two women at Shopian.

SRINAGAR: Thirty people, including five security personnel, were injured in clashes in the Kashmir Valley on Saturday when authorities tried to control demonstrators protesting for the sixth consecutive day against the suspicious deaths of two women at Shopian.

Life was affected when people took to the streets, decrying police inaction on the deaths, and clashed with CRPF personnel in downtown Srinagar.

Protests and clashes were also reported from Baramulla and Sopore town of north Kashmir and Anantnag, Pulwama, Bijbehara, Tral and other areas of south Kashmir.

Residents of Fateh Kadal and Karfali Mohalla alleged that paramilitary troops smashed windowpanes and beat up people who staged demonstrations.

People in the old city took to the streets after a cleric claimed that a bullet struck a minaret of the Jamma Masjid when security forces fired in the air to disperse the mob.

Protests and clashes erupted in Zainakote, Bandipora, Bagh-e-mehtab, Nowhatta, Batmaloo, Maisuma and other areas where hundreds of people, mainly youth, took to streets and staged demonstrations, prompting the police to fire tear gas shells.

Withdraw AFSPA: PDP

With tension palpable in many areas, the Opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) pressed for the withdrawal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) by holding protests at all district headquarters.

PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, who led the demonstration in Srinagar, said this was the time to withdraw the AFSPA and send the troops back to the barracks and re-locate them to the Line of Control. She said the campaign against the AFSPA would be taken to Delhi also.

Leading her supporters, Ms. Mehbooba reminded Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about his “commitment” to the former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, in 2007. “The UPA government should fulfil its promise.”

She told journalists that the State was on its way back to normality and a resolution of conflict through diplomatic and peaceful means, but the heavy presence of troops in civilian areas and their “unbridled powers” were coming in the way.

Army not in favour of pulling troops from J&K

TOI

NEW DELHI: Despite improvement in the security situation in J&K, the Army does not favour an immediate thinning of its presence in the state. With the terror infrastructure directed against India still alive and kicking in Pakistan, the Army feels it would be better to "tackle'' the question of troop reduction in Jammu and Kashmir after the Amarnath Yatra and the summer.

In addition to the 30 to 40 terrorist-training camps still operational in Pakistan and PoK, the latest Army assessment holds that around 550-600 militants are "active'' in J&K, with over 40% of them being of "foreign origin''.

"We need to go through the Amarnath Yatra, which is supposed to be starting shortly, and the summer season. Because the snow is melting and the passes are open, the chances of infiltration going up are very much there, especially since a number of (terror) camps are existing on the other side of the LoC,'' Army chief General Deepak Kapoor said on Friday.

The Army has strengthened its multi-tiered counter-infiltration grid along the LoC, with intelligence reports holding that many militants are waiting to sneak into J&K.

Gen Kapoor, however, acknowledged the internal security situation in J&K was definitely on the improve now. "As and when the political authorities decide the Army can be withdrawn, it will be withdrawn. It depends on the assessments made when things become more stable over a period of time,'' he said.

The immediate security challenge will be the two-month-long Amarnath Yatra, which was initially scheduled to begin from June 7 but has now been postponed till June 15. An additional 60 companies of paramilitary forces, with over 6,000 personnel, will be deployed along both the routes of the yatra to thwart any attempt to target it.

Asked about human rights violation cases against security personnel in J&K, Gen Kapoor talked of a zero tolerance approach towards the offeners, but warned that the elements behind terrorism were on the look out for excuses to blame seurity forces." They will try to utilise each and every incident to level allegations against security forces. But whenever allegations are levelled against our security forces, we investigate them and if any violation is found, disciplinary action is initiated and taken,'' General Kapoor said.

I don't think government will be stupid enough to actually pull out Army from that region. Especially now that traitor separatists are busy helping terrorists sneak in openly, might wanna start arresting them left and right instead of pulling out.

Leaving a place like Kashmir without army will be a suicide for rest of the India.

Two militants, policeman killed in Kashmir violence
15 Jun 2009, 2011 hrs IST, IANS

SRINAGAR: Two suspected guerrillas were killed in a gunfight with the Indian Army while a policeman was shot dead in a militant ambush in Kashmir,
police said on Monday.

A civilian car was attacked by suspected militants near the main bus stand at Sopore, 50 km from here, in north Kashmir's Baramulla district Monday evening. A policeman in the car was killed on the spot and a civilian with him was seriously wounded, a police officer said.

The guerrillas fired indiscriminately, triggering panic and tension in the area, said the officer.

The policeman was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Fafoo while the injured civilian was identified as Nazir Ahmed Dar.

"His condition is serious and doctors have referred him to Srinagar for specialised treatment," the officer said.

Security forces surrounded the area and mounted searches.

No group has claimed responsibility for the ambush, which follows last week's killing of a policeman and a civilian in the town.

Two suspected separatist guerrillas were killed in a fierce north Kashmir gunfight with the Indian Army late Sunday. The gun battle erupted in district Kupwara's Kumkadi village, 100 km from here, after heavily armed guerrillas fired at an army patrol, a police spokesman said here.

"The security forces returned the fire, triggering a gunfight, at the end of which two guerrillas were killed," the spokesman said.

Two AK-47 rifles, three grenades, six magazines, 62 rounds, two pouches and a mobile set and a SIM card belonging to the militants were recovered from the shootout site.

Woman shot dead by militants in Sopore
17 Jun 2009, 1533 hrs IST, PTI

SRINAGAR: Militants shot dead a 50-year-old widow inside her house in Sopore town of north Kashmir's Baramulla district, a police spokesman on Wednesday.

Reshma Jan, a bank employee, was shot by ultras from point blank range inside her house, 55 kms from here, late last night, the spokesman said.

Jan, who received a bullet each in the head and chest, was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to injuries, he said.

One of her daughters Shameema and her husband are working in police department and the family had shifted to Sopore from Kupwara about six years back, official sources said.

They said after the death of her husband Abdul Majid Khan, a bank employee, she was given a job in the bank on compassionate ground.

The motive behind the ultra's killing her was not known immediately, the sources said adding that, police has registered a case and begun investigations.

This was the third incident in Sopore since Saturday when militants shot dead two persons including a policeman. The incident was followed by an ambush on a private car at Manzbugh on Monday, which left a policeman dead and a civilian injured.

On May 31, militants had killed a special police officer in the town but authorities claimed to have solved the case when they killed two ultras including a commander of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen in an encounter on June 10 in the town.
