More nonsens from you. Ws-10A is in the same class as AL-31 and is been mass produced. To claim that it is in the same
stage as K-9 is just stupid.

It is about time you see past the usual jingoism and face the reality.

Open a new thread if you are that interested to compare chinese engines with non-existent indian ones. This thread is about J-20.

Ok i will stick to the topic of watching all J-20 pictures and reading whatever you guys post.
Why bother with discussion. Just rename the thread as J-20----SEE THE PICTURE AND LISTEN TO OUR STORIES.
IT WILL BE MORE PROPER.
And we will discuss like the discussions in people's daily or any other chinese official media out let i.e whatever you post is right and whatever i say is rant.

1. No of TR modules on ASEA radar you reported to be on J-20
2.detection range and tracking range of the radar
3.Power requirement
4.RADAR diameter?
5.How many targets it can track simultaneously
6.What is the exact empty weight?fuel load?weapon weight?weapon types?
7.,Since the purpose of the canards is to attach beneficial energizing vortices on the upper wing surface and postpone the onset of stall, all canard deltas have canards placed higher than the wing to avoid canard wash on the wing and provide laminar smooth airflow to the wing so that wing performs efficiently
SO what is The concept behind having canards and wings on the same horizantal plane in J-20?

detection - 400Km+, tracking range - 250Km. Should increase with modules count unless there is a software restriction.

APG-77 on F-22 does 200-250Km tracking on a 1m[SUP]2[/SUP] target.

But air combat logic is simple, bigger radar sees better. Bigger radar wins.

3.Power requirement
15-20KW depending on whether it is 1500 or 2000 modules with known GaAs modules delivering peak powers of up to 10W. Unknown if they are using GaN modules, but that is unlikely.

4.RADAR diameter?
900mm-1200mm depending on modules.

5.How many targets it can track simultaneously
32 to 64. Software.

6.What is the exact empty weight?fuel load?
Should be around 16-20 tons empty, from PAKFA class to F-22 class. Fuel can be proportionate to body weight. 10 tons to 12 tons. Should exceed Flanker anyway.

Go figure why N-LCA has the LEVCON in the same plane and apply same logic to J-20 (btw, it is not in the same plane on J-20). Google X-36, KF-X 201. It requires more reading and less talking.

Track 10 engage 4

Estimated around that of the F-111

Since it doesn't have a wing edge going past centreline , they made huge canards to compensate for lack of control surfaces. They need it so large so they can get the vortex over the wing to give control in AoA maneuvers.

Can't really give numbers without facts, but with two AL-31 engines T/W will be around 1 clean.
