"Further, test flights under the Gaganyaan Programme and Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) are also planned in upcoming years. "

there was a planned unmanned test of the Gaganyaan space capsule in the next 6 months. There should also be a SSLV mission with Blacksky sats or some other satellite.

We need something in range of Saturn V/LongMarch9/Falcon Super heavy if we intend to realize the dream of sending humans to moon by 2040. I wonder how this NGLV will help in achieving that ?

After the USA State department and it's loonies shenanigans regarding channun case, I must say, don't feel happy at all.

Indian VYOMANAUTS are trained on Russian technologies why not send them on Soyuz first, maybe I am wrong, is India space vehicle not based on Russian technology? even suits are based on the Russian ones.

US has history of leaving nations in cold when it comes to technology. Plus real trouble is their inspection regime if you take any thing from them it always comes with inspection regime

Playing both sides🤣😂🤣😂
International Launches are predefined for next 2-3 years in advance. US planned to move from Soyuz to Their own local players: Crew mission from SpaceX and upcoming New shepherd and another from Lockhead, I think!

Not sure how many more Soyuz seats are left with US!

Hey all! We at IIT Jodhpur are building the abstract for our Lunar Rover model for ISRO's rover competition. I have been tasked with detailing its ERS (Emergency Response System), like describing different emergency situations our rover may face and how we choose to handle them, also how our proposed solution is better than some alternatives.
Now, I understand that specific rover design modalities will affect this, but still need your help and inputs regarding general emergency situations. Our rover will consist of a Rocker Bogie Suspension, T-Slot Extruded Aluminum Chassis, and Topologically Optimized 3D Printed Wheels. We'll be implementing explicit steering as well.
Thanks a lot!

Idk much about this but I think obviously craters can be a threat so detection is important
How will you bring it back to its og position if for some reason it's upside down

Well, I'm thinking about using gyroscopic sensors to detect an impending dangerous position (above dangerous threshold), then automatically adjust wheel torque and orientation to counteract tipping, preventing the rover from overturning altogether.
It's real-time, so theoretically should be better than using mechanically deployed stabilizers.

What would be the power source?
Solar ?
